It is his ego that does not allow him from leaving.. He has got into habit of ruling... It is difficult to take this situaion lightly .. When ego gets hurt a person does all he should not.. Gadaffi is one of those.. |

Since the dictators tasted the power to rule others, they do not want to give away and further they misappropriate the country's funds/assets for their selfishness which should be secured at any cost and hence they don't like to get down from the throne. Once they step down all their misdeeds will be unearthed by somebody who would be against the dictators.
Thanks for the referral Ms.Sonam Kapoor.
Yes sonam it is Ego and fear of loosing life.
Ego is the only thing which make it to be happened in that way. I support your views, Sonam.
Power corrupts & absolute power corrupts absolutely.......
I thinks its power. Dictators like Gadaffi achieved power, managed power and maintained it for years. He represented his land, on the planet earth. I don't even represent the flat I live in, how will I know what it is. Its beyond his ego. This must be like facing a tsunami. Big wave of water moving towards you beyond your speed and even beyond your imagination. He may not have thought about it in his life time but it began. Its his life that he is defending.
Power corrupts, every saint comes to power and becomes dictator/devil. see our own PM. and Congress for past 60years is more than dictator elected.

Its always "Me" that comes first with the Dictators.
They may have good intentions initially but as the time passes on, the greed for Money, Power & pride "I am THE King of the World" sets in and that's the problem.

well, once when one gets power ,he dont want to loose at any cost i.e true with each and everyone else

Their Ego force to be a power full and when they are powerful, they totally determine no one can replace them, so they do what ever you want. Some time Power make them Egoist. Ego-->Power Ego<--Power |

All egoistic people are not dictators. Only when power(Finance, Defence, Home affairs, External relations) is converged at a point, and things are moving very much under one's utterance. Then, dictators rise up. |

Dictator is the process of ruling on the people but it does not success in democracy. It is rule of Autocracy. When a single person rules on people from long time. But if people unite and revolt together then dictatorship is finished and democracy has established. It had suffered from each country before became a democratic nation. So the dictatorship is the rule of autocrasy not a democracy.

Once anybody gets power, naturally he gets attached to it. Let any of the readers tell me that "If I were made the PM or CM I will rule honestly, sincerely following the rule book." It is natural for anybody and everybody. If your boss changes your seat today morning, you get upset and drown a couple of drinks. It is human tendency.

It's an irony of sorts that Maharashtra—a state once know for an enviable history of women's rights activism—has gone for over a year without a state commission for women. The timing for the resignation of the members of the Women's Commission... |
