Association of social campaign with the cause like "Save tigers" (Used and tested by aircell) can be a great promotional cativity. We can also target other social issues like Pollution, Trees, aids awareness, girl child ..... etc Now a days people are taking these things seriously, we can surly take advantage of it. Also the brand gets socially a good image, and we are also involved in upbringing of country or earth.. |

good idea but should be taken carefully, because cost of cloth is important issue.because good quality of cloth is not avilable at cheaper price.and it should be compforatable one.
YES WE CAN DO 'CSR' FOR MARKETING LIKE ITC DID THROUGH E CHOUPAL
Social goodwil of a brand or company makes a huge difference to its popularity. The common man always tries to do his bit for the needy, and when they see big names coming forward, the inclination towards the brand starts automatically. This concept is popular as "Corporate Social Responsibility" and many biggies are implementing it to their firms by associating with NGOs. So, we naturally tend to buy P&G products (Ariel,Tide) when they pay 1 rupee to "Project Shiksha" on every purchase.
|
|
One of the most impressive promotional tactics is the T-shirt concept. This simple concept appeals to the modern youth demographically about the concept of the product. |

In the current scene, everyone is too busy earning bread for their family, they barely have time for things that they donot associate with themselves. Brands, and products are also influenced by this attitude. Detergents are all priced high, most of the customers donot mind if they are taking ABC of XYZ.. they know both sell well, and wash good. why pay better heed to one, what does that have for them? That is what we should focus on... What will bind them to us? Are we involving them in making products for them. In the Digital age, one aspect of marketing we are forgetting is, PERSONALIZED MARKETING. We can call on big gifts, TV interviews for people who have been loyal to your product for 5 yrs in strech. People having a durable for 15years still running strong, can be asked for a small TV interview, about their memories they have attached to that Refrigerator, TV, Car, Bike, Fan. I don't think market researchers need to be told how to track these people... Track and involve them in your success story, the rest of the world will follow suit. Its a common man society after all... |

The traditional way to manage marketing communication, often by using e.g. media advertising, which drowns easily in the masses, is caused by strong agency traditions, credibility and measurability.
On ther hand the desire of the "lazy" corporate management to get quickly measurable results limit the use of more effective online and offline methods and tools. Too many are happy with measurable “good” results instead of utilizing all the existing opportunities in order to achieve brilliancy.
It seems that the desire, knowledge and guts to ask for the best possible solutions for affect even the single individual are simply missing. The threshold towards new, integrated methods and activity plans must first be surpassed.

Nothing appeals to people more than 'emotions', use these more often and success shall be yours always..but please remember never cheat while marketing with emotions, it will backfire..

the idea is good and paractical when any body connects on emotional background and says that this is good because of it solves your this partculer problem .than people feels emontional to have a relation with that brand. |

One should go for network marketing or relationship marketing.
since everything depends on links, so one should fully tap Network Marketing.
We can see insurance, stock brokerage, etc, make best use of this marketing.

There is a whole range of idea out there for personal marketing. Right from tea cups, place mats mobile bills, milk packet... so on. You will have to identify your target segment and then accordingly choose the medium.

I guess Social Media is the medium used by the youth who are likely to participate or communicate with a brand. This could be one of the best medium to interact with consumers. |

One could do promotional event at a public place like malls where they can make people participate in some contest or games |

for effective marketing, marketimng by T-shirt may be useful but to make people participate in the same promotional campaigns in mall are effective..promotional activities done at malls actually invite people, attract their attentions and gave easy access for participation in comparison to other ways of marketing.

|
Seasonal Need Based marketing can be effective as it satisfies the mass. Depending upon the season - may be religious or political events association or seasonal change such as autumn, spring etc or Sports events etc. THIS ADDS VARIETIES IN MARKETING ALSO. |

Hi My understanding about the market is.. basically market is divided into two segment.. 1st one is Retail or Consumer Segment and 2nd one is Corporate or Business Segment(may be I am wrong). So when we are talking about retail segment people used to look about immediate return or short term return of the investment that what he or she is getting at that time. For example, " Buy1 Dekstop Computer you will get a computer table free of Cost"... and really it does make sense. On the other hand when we talk about Corporate segment, they used to think about long term return on investment. For example, We are providing 2years additional warranty without any extra cost"... its a long term ROI thinking and I think it works. So marketer have to think about the target customer and then should take initiative to promote marketing strategies.
Thanks Biswajit |

It depends on the product being advertised. Why would you want people to participate in a products advertising when they would rather concentrate in consuming it. Or am i not getting the bigger picture here ? |

Hi, This might look a bit awkward at first, but if intelligently managed and properly marketed with the youth politicians during their campaign because nowadays many of the youth politicians are in no time becoming youth icons of our nation and politics might be the new obsession for the present and future generation. Why not give it a chance? Regards, Tabrez Shaikh |
