I would like to have an intuitive mobile phone. One that is wirelessly connected to my thoughts and dials the number of the person I want to talk to without me having to initiate the process. One that plays music according to my mood. One that automatically directs me to a particular restaurant depending again on my mood. One that recharges itself on its own without my intervention. That will be an interesting phone, i guess. |

Good joke. I'm so lazy and always think of such application to complete all the tasks coming in my mind without my involvement..I-Dream best suites for that phone...

This may be surely available in fantasy or a dream world. Quite acceptable that we all love to see dreams but at the same time we have to live in reality.
So Leena,...... this phone might be called a I-Dream Phone :)

What is mobility if it can not take advantage of the location!
I always think of one Location Based Service that any Service Provider can make good money i.e
Making a automated call or message when we reach a particular location.
See for example :
Once I was travelling to one place where it is night journey in train. Because of darkness we can't read the boards also most of the times. So, i was just keep on asking the people when my next station comes.
Instead of the above one, as every tower will have the place name, why cant any service provider (airtel/vodafone/tata/etc..) can have a facility such that
1) user will send SMS with dest.location
2) Once user mobile reaches to that location we will get automated call mentioning our destination is just a few minutes away.
GPS ..i dont wont for this just because for indians it is still takes good amount from our pocket

Currently Windows based phones are very popular and satisfactory, but the speed lacks.. since we are familiar with Windows, we prefer the faster version and heavy storage to our phones...

This is a very nice idea. This will increase the sale of the mobile phone a lot and make it popular among the users...

I know it isnt feasible for the moment or rather it is too early but an idea of a high-tech phone which senses weather signal through the transmissions, application should be well connected at the same time. As whenever there is going to be heavy rains. thunderstorms or earthquake (not quite frequent in mumbai) but to senseit before hand for the people to be careful and take precautionary measures or either rush to the nearest safe place. Just a thought......... Cheers |

In these days of electronics, technology and internet, everyone of us several needs to use several instruments & information at every minute of our life. 1. U need a news paper in the morning. 2. U need your days schedule and reminder system 3. Remote control capability of your household equipment and car 4. GPS 5. Personal info like Bank, insurance and credit card and other info like social security, tax numbers 6. Utilities & other services management 7. Travel planner 8. Messaging system like e mail 9. ec All this info should be available through web based secured access method so that what we have is just an instrument to access every information that we need to use or process or control Every individual will have a web space where all the relevant info would be available and this instrument will have the facility to access and process safely and securely. |

Ultimately this is what is going to happen.
There is a feeling that mobile will be used more like a palmtop then conventional communication device.
You were right to assume that mostly services will be hosted on the web.

We are facing so many unknown calls these days as well as our callers ask fake locations so it`s vere helpful for managements for know the caller`s destination |

In the rainy season,many handsets start creating the problems. For all such unexpected abnormalities,the mobile should be able to restore with all the data available in it previously. So,some sort of backup should be available in the device itself that can restore the mobile completely even you format it |

It is a good idea, but there is the constraint of memory and hardware.
For legible scanning and storing, you might need a hell lot of memory.

If the mobile is not with us for quite some time, when we get with it back, we can only see the missed calls and messages. Some calls out of them are only miss calls while some are intended calls. We should be able to differentiate between who wanted to give us just a miss call and who wanted to really call us. |

What is the intention ?? either ways u hv to get in touch of whom has registered a missed call in ur phone while u were away. If its in the missed call log then definitely u might hv to find out by reverting back to them.
On the side talk for the missed call facility 01 thing can be fine tuned where if there are 04 attempts from the same no. the missed call registers only the last call time but not the time of all 04 attempts ...... like i hv called u 1st time on 9.15 am then i tried again at 9.25 am thereafter at 9.50 am. So not only the 9.50 timing saying 3 missed call should be registered but should be 01 by 01 for every attempt. This might even gv u an idea of how desperate the caller was.

All context based scenarios must taken care of. 1. Transfer of Data: Eg Mobile numbers. For Instance I wanted to transfer my mobile numbers to other mobile, I need to send either SMS or via Bluetooth. But with just the touch to the other device data has to be transferred knowing which number I wanted to transfer. This should perform even if the receiving device is just a normal mobile. 2.
