Every individual , talented or not, has an expectation. The more talented an individual the more sensitive he / she is to their expectations. So addressing and managing  their expectations becomes the single most critical activity to attract  and retain a good talent.

Selling the vision

Friends, try to sell the vision of your organization to the candidates.  Do not assume that a candidate knows the things you know, or that he/she wants to work at your company sight unseen.  Do not treat candidates as commodities. Recruited candidates are usually not looking, but are receptive to better career opportunities, and must be convinced of the advantages of your offering. When you keep him happy why is he going to quit his/her job.

Flexibility

Flexibility is one of the important key factor that every talented people look at. Each individual is different, has different priorities and issues, and may require a tailored process and accommodations after joining the firm. The willingness to accommodate a top performer’s needs frequently is the key to acquiring and keeping that person. .

Don't set tough crietria for recruitment , and company can get potential candidates

We have a huge hub of students and unemployed candidates. some just fail to make out there career is because they don't fit the percentage criteria. If any student is not able to score good percentage in the specific area than it doesn't mean that he or she is a candidate with an poor IQ or less talent. if there barrier is removed then definately the organization and the student will be benefited. Percentage though represent the caliber but its not something that measures the consistency and hard labor that a student put in during the course of there studies.
