Institutional linkages should be emphasized upon to integrate the markets, for easy movement of goods and also to facilitate the inter-state trade. Also, regular surveys and analytical studies on agricultural marketing should be conducted, so that appropriate policy adjustments and refinements whenever necessary. |

Support jayant here. Apart from the linkages, the companies should ensure proper infrastructure for internet, SAP and also good warehousing facilities, particularly in case of perishable food commodities. I do not foresee any problems in instituting infrastructure facilities as gensets are very commonly used alongwith inverters to get the necessary electrical usage needed to conduct operations on the said premises.
Thanks for the referral Jayant!

Thanks Jayant for the referral and once wishing all members of 2 steps A prosperous 2010. This is a very worthwhile topic from Sasi, as last week I was in India and had the opportunity to attend some development and Brand promotions for the auto sector. In India at present the development that is taking place is very rapid for which the pressure in being born by the rural sector in a very huge amount. In the name of growth and development it is more of greed and power that is playing the game. If the Brands are consciously making an effort to improve the rural sector, I would say, that would be “The Correct Step to development and growth.” Attempt to bring all Villages in India in the main stream while providing infrastructure, communication facilities. Once you improve the basic needs, it will enhance the demands for better living. |

That's a good one. well developed, self sufficient, self dependent village. not exactly a city..

I my view, it would be a very nice idea to create an effective market intelligence network, right from the importer in the global market to the producer in the remote corner of the rural India. This will help a lot in getting more and more networks and getting faster market intelligence network... |

I believe that when a bill is rejected so many times there has to be loopholes in the bill too and we can clearly see them. The main problem is that we are too emotional that we are not able to find the realistic approach to the matter. |
Yes Virag the idea is good and it will work more for the other sompaies than the real creators... |
There are certain levels of a society. What we want is everyone should get what they deserve. Abolishing poverty won't mean that all the works will stop. |
