When we decide to pursue an entrepreneurial venture, we have to confront our doubts and fears; sometimes we just have to go for it. Because this is what will engage and motivate your employees, which often means they will be more effective and will deliver better service, which in turn will encourage customers to come back and spend money with us. Customer satisfaction is most important key to the growth and development.In every business small,medium or large, customer is important because  if companies profits and satisfy a single customer then that customer with referrals will bring the rest business.Different type of customers have different type of views and different type of demand so meeting the needs of the customer is the only thing that will make a good business great.

Customer Satisfaction, infact, customer delight is the most important factor in making the firm great. Everything else is a means to reach there.

I think there are many factors involved. This idea seems to capture most of them. When you include customer satisfaction to this list, you have great firm. 

A profitable company with all the attributes listed here coupled with a good potential for future, makes for a great organization.

I think it is important that employees are encouraged,to take decisions, to follow their mind, to experiment, to make innovations. Employees carry the firm on their shoulders and if they are satisfied with their job the firm will automatically grow.

Why do majority Indian companies did`nt grow before decades?

Becoz, the entreprenuers are not at all loyal to the business. Business mean continous investments and seeding of profit to new ventures. Indian entrepueners never remained loyal to the business or the investors and manipulate the balance sheet to bring pull out the capital investments/profit or liquidate business assets for their own sake intererst. Thus the fall in business line and product. How come western companies grow so big and so old, becoz they pour investments.

It is very important to control the business and benchmark the targets. Therefore it needs to keep pure transparency of business line to the employees for their development resulting the business growth.

Ultimately in short without customers there is no business. Customer is great, god, everything. The common goal of team should be to satisfy the clients.

The firms can definately be transformed to great firms.

There is no one single charecteristic that make a firm great. There are so many of them. The first being responsibility of the firm to its stake holders. Stake holders include besides the stock holders, the consumers, employees, creditors, the society they work from, suppliers, channels and anything and everything connected to the firm. A good feasible mission, growth, transparent operations, working under the bounds of commercial laws of the nation, good investment plans for future, employment generation on a regular basis etc; etc;

I wonder how some companies are capable of taking big leap in their business and others don’t. The only thing which turns any company , whether good or bad or even dying , into a great company , is a great leader.

Jack Welch may not be a shining example , but there are several other turn around leaders. Lee Kuan Yew made Singapore the glittering city that it is today ; without him , it is very doubtful if this would have happened.

It is a fact that without oxygen , combustion cannot take place , but it is also true that without the initial spark from a matchstick , there cannot be a fire.

It is true that companies need to be efficient , effective , profitable , have great people , great technology ,... It is invariably a visionary leader who brings about all of these.
