I think these days people are bored of working for someone else, the mindset is totally changed, earlier it was all about government jobs, and then it was IT jobs and now it is all about Self employment, I mean putting all the effort for their own business or venture and feel good about it, and many of my friends are also in the same mode of thinking, where they want to start on their own at a very early age by quitting a great job at hand. |

Other reasons may be, they want to be of boss for themselves.They may have innovative ideas that could not be implemented in their jobs due to their supperior and this might have resulted to leave the job in order to start on their own. Anyone who is having the courage with self-motivation, result oriented, confidence, capacity to manage/sustain the crisis in the business, and risk bearing to the optimum level can start his own business with a reasonable amount of capital. Now a days the business can be financed through banks/financial institutions for which they need some security.
but also independence , satisfaction and growth .
When one is employed for some company one is controlled, and there is limitation to do things. Now with the economy opened up, easy finance available and large market opened up, one can venture out to do something by oneself. this feeling of independence has given rise to many new ventures.

More people miss out on family and social obligations because of 12-14 hours of office. Its not just IT industry anymore. Thats one. Secondly, who is the boss. Most of the times, he is the one, you are better, without. Third, entrepreneurship gives you more job satisfaction and job security vis-a-vis job avenues. Finally,to any natural talent entrepreneurship means freedom while job is slavery. I personally also think, use your job to know your natural talent and to get market training for it but always plan for entrepreneurship. |

Being a businessman is a kind of a challenge. As an employee, you have to work in only one department, but for an enterprenuer_ all the department of the business are important, so you have to get knowledge about management, finance control, production, purchse & sales, etc. Again better growth & more income (if you can manage your business) are the other two things, that can make somebody to choose entrepreneurship.

Hello Veena, Entrepreneurship, person should develop from young age itself. Then only you can be successful. To achieve this, person should take risk and no of challenges. Further you have to sacrifice so many things to achieve the Goal. At last it depends on the individual.
