What mobile applications is the most sought out in 3G according to you?

If you have seen the Vodafone Zoozoo ad of 3G where everything it resembles of some Rajnikant styles and few superheroes...you would have understood how 3G technology is taking shape in India. 

Today there is a maximum demand for 3G usage as of now stems from metros and the top five tier II cities. The technology will definitely take almost a year before it moves to cover more areas.   VAS is the most sought out in 3G but, what according to you is the most sought out Mobile applications on 3G?

The common set of applications on 3G include mobile TV, video on demand, video conferencing, tele-medicine and location-based services, but infotainment seems to be the buzzword in the telecom sector what with most telecom players opting for infotainment propelled value added services. Although handset affordability seems to be a major hurdle, VAS players seem to be making the best of 3G technology for now.

I think connecting two or more users over the 3G networks and making them interact over the communication, entertainment, gaming or videos platforms would be the key. With more 3G enabled handsets available at even Rs 5000 and lesser, we don't see handset affordability as an issue.

Hi, 3G is a technology made for faster communication. It might be entertainment or infotainment..most of the streaming applications people are using on 3G for both the purposes. Other countries usage is more on Infotainment where as in India, still people are addicted for entertainment. slowly it is turning towards Infotainment in India :)
