There should be free education (actually) till primary. For this there should be an increase in the plan allocation from 16 % to 20-25%. This necessary for giving free education and developing infrastructure. The "right to free education bill" should come into action. |

I endorse your opinion Ms.Kavitha.
FREE EDUCATION SHOULD BE MADE COMPULSORY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO CANNOT AFFORD EXORBITANT FEES ESPECIALLY IN ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOLS AND IN THE SAME WAY THERE SHOULD BE A PARTICULAR GROUP OF PERSONS WHO SHOULD SCRUPULOUSLY MONITOR THE SITUATION OF A CANDIDATE WHETHER HE/SHE IS STUDYING PROPERLY OR NOT, WHETHER CLASSES ARE BEING TAKEN UP OR NOT.
YEAH, ITS TRUE THAT FREE EDUCATION OFTEN DOES NOT TURN OUT TO BE FRUITFUL, BUT GOVERNMENT CAN MAKE IT POSSIBLE BY ISSUING STRINGENT RULES, WHICH WILL DEFINITELY HELP REACH EDUCATION AT EVERY SINGLE THRESHOLD OF POOR FAMILIES.
Though it seems to be rare chances to the Free Education but there will be some action towards such thing to lower the burden of fees...especially for Economically Challenged People...At least hope so
Good Pick Kavitha...

Is India poor, who says? Ask Swiss banks with personal account deposit bank of $1500 billion in foreign reserve which have been misappropriated, an amount 13 times larger than the country’s foreign debt, one needs to rethink if India is a poor country? “According to one estimate, money ranging from Rs.50-75 lakh crore ($1-1.5 trillion) is parked in Swiss bank accounts. So I dare them (political parties) to reply to this question.and dare to add it in Budget 2012" |

all is enough, our majority Indian population reside in villages, we should know about their problems i.e.big family security, sanitation, health, roads, water, light and then above all hungry stomach because of the population. Our villager thought as many people in their family they could earn batter without realising big family is not boon,it is course. Our Govt. should educate for small family

One of the basics to tackle the Indian economy 'could' be by encouraging the purchase of Indian products. As mentioned here for instance: http://www.facebook.com/Use.Indian.Goods "Lets spread awareness on how we as individuals can together make a positive difference towards Indian economy. Explore the goodness within India. Ofcourse like all good things there are unfortunate incidents as well: Many Indian industries are closing down. The Indian economy could soon be in a delicate state. If we do not take proper steps to try to control this, then we will be in a crisis situation in the coming decade. We are constantly facing increase in prices. While the manufacturing cost of a product could be an 'x' amount the selling cost comes to an increase of almost 'x' + 20% [increase]. So, we pay almost a 20% more when we purchase goods that are not manufactured and maintained in India." Via: http://www.facebook.com/Use.Indian.Goods

Well endowed campuses are a necessary infrastructure for an economy where students are endowed with 'welfare norms' and state of the art facilities like well endowed libraries, cubicles for individual learning, computing and vocational resources, extra curricular resources, state of the art labs, student center, post office, banks, atms, parking lots, boat yards wherever ther is a lake near by, climatic control of environment, sports facilities with climatic controls, music and central halls, theatre, airport, golf course etc; etc;. Thia tantamount to a state of the art American campur, whic will cost aroung $3.5 billion to create. Our economy not well endowed to create one like this for students to pursue their career objectives individualy will take some time for the economy to reach that state of wealth creation to be in a position to create campuses like that.

Just like in U.S.A the schooling should be govt.controlled and subsidised fee
should be charged and the place of residence near by school the student should be enrolled.Even as Tax Expert Lakhotia today in CNBC AWAAZ had said per child the tax exemption per child is rs 100 per month if the employee gets educational allowance, and rs.300 per month for hostel fees per month;the education ministry should see that lot of navodaya or kendriya vidyalaya type schools should open across the length and breadth of the country to make right to education happen.

The education should be more oriented towards practicals. Some introductory vocational training should be provided, and there should be practical/project element in all subjects rather than mere bookish knowledge.

if only we would implement the reports of so many committees and so many plans already made.you would set up a committee it would take a decade to give report and by that time that report is outdated not worth the paper.enjoy do nothing.atleast you would save resources.private sector would implement the reforms allow them to work. They may make some money in the process 1/3 out of that you would get as income tax, another 1/3 as various taxes and about 10% of what they earn would go to various department, a huge amount out of the expenditure would be government department again.

It's a dispute of have's and have not's. Those who earn more than that of bread-butter n shelter should shoulder the resposibilities towards the poor. A fund should be raised on national level to meet the needs of the poor, which should be linked to the IT. One who pays more IT should share the responsibility more. To me, Uniformity in lifestyle is the only answer to economic problems. Our country has become a Jungle where the Fittesst survive. Human approach to the social system is the need of the hour....

the government should explore how they can bring an entirely new set of reforms that not only address Right to education but also generates "INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT " for one and all. The similar reforms have been successfully carried out in China and the same have taken china to a status of super power.

Our standards of rote learning are so high, that there is a huge failure rate, leading to suicides. In rural areas, you can't expect them to keep up with urban education, but at the same time you reserve seats for them. Reservtion in education has failed miserably. Many of my colleagues in professional isntitutes, despite being from urban areas, found it difficult to attend regularly, and even failed repeatedly. Girls, especially, find it hard to attend science colleges that are for 8 hours, including practicals. Please try to reduce the workload of students, as most of them are not able to match up. But since they don't admit it honestly, the system never changes.

There should be a whole departement dealing with the issue of failure in educational as well as corporate set ups. We must start looking at failure as an expereince, instead of covering it up, and address it squarely.

More and more students are averse to studies. At the PhD level, you will hardly find any females. As we grow, our prowesses decline, but the competition, work load increase!!! Also, our inability to match up results in a depletion in moral standards. We must develop morally, if we are to claim being educated.
