Healthy, limited & on-time eating habits will help a lot in maintaining good health.
avoid the wrong combinations of food (viruddhahara)and strictly avoid reuse of oil.Increase the usage of detoxifying foods such as turmeric, gooseberries,broccoli family,spinach..
I will add one more. Dont carry home the office problems and dont bring household issues to office. This is the secret of energy.

meditation makes man to think in a calm way and it helps to keep our stress, B.P etc in control... and also it helps to make people feel happy...so it surely makes a good difference in health among the people who used to meditate daily and who don't meditate....

Keeping the body fit through practicing some normal exercise, Stress free life and keeping feel happy, taking food in time, intake of selective foods which can be accepted by our body, taking bed in time & sleeplessness will create problems, keeping away the constipation which is very important to avoid certain illness, drinking more water to facilitate proper digestion, maintaining diet control after 40 years, intake of more vegetables, green leaves, & fruits. Diet, meditation,food on time, balanced diet and so on all are important, a right mix of all these things are required for good health.

Our first & formost goal is to be healthy. Should take some food (like bread, rotti)other than skip foods in the name of diet... or can eat fruits instead...

Adequate rest is important and should not be taken too lightly. Sleep works its own wonders on our metabolism and our hormones and helps manage stress too. We miss our sleep because of work load which is very harmful , one should set a goal of sleeping for some definite number of hours depending on their body requirements. |

Sleeping and that too sound sleep is very important for health. Ensure that you sleep for at least 6 to 7 hours.

It is very important to workout for at least 1 hour daily to maintain a health and also it helps in managing stress level,as health minds exists in healthy body.

Walking is the best exercise as it tones up your muscles and keeps you in shape. You can choose any time morning or evening. Start with a short and slow walk and increase the distance and pace every day to finally settle for about 45 minutes to an hour of brisk walk. Make sure that you never feel tired, if so go back to your previous day regime.

Notwithstanding vegetables and fruits are grown in toxic environment,somehow we have to maintain balance diet by regulating our eating habits, avoiding oily, spicy and junk food with physical exercise should be our health goal.

However I agree with all the idea, but I use other technique to keep my self healthy. Normally when I go to bed, I just lye down straight and concentrate to the body parts where I have problem. Then slowly I enter into my body and control the things. But on daily basis I always do such excercise atleast to clear my heart vans from any blockage. But guys this needs practice and concentration. Also it is really not a meditation but it is some thing different. JUST TRY OUT. |

I feel Meditation helps you being focussed and calm. It helps you feel satisfied within you if you do it regularly. It also reduced your intake of medicines as daily doing increased your concentration.
