After investing money ,time and effort companies should do a continuous follow up in a timely and diligent manner. No lead should go unattended and if they are unattended companies would be loosing many big business opportunities after spending money,time and effort. Each new lead responded because they were interested in the product of a company and this opportunity should be exploited maximum. |

i generated leads thru adwords, thru contacts in various social sites like tagged,facebook,zorpia and sent the presentations to over 5000 persons. the acknowledgement or reverse response is almost zero. what could be the reason? Presentation content inadequate or not appealing or people are not enterprising to satep into a new opportunity of earning thru personalised marketing of products.

while lead generation is important, its even more important to clearly define your target segment and what qualifies as a "lead". This will help design better lead capture programs and ensure that even if fewer leads are generated, most of them are valuable. This way the effort and resources are optimized and lead to conversion ratios will be better. |

Lead generation is mind work. It can be from anywhere and nowhere. People should know that u are in specific feild. I got leadfrom co passenger while I was travelling, it matured. I got reference from my relative, it matured. I got reference from my ex colleague, it matured. So lead can be from anywhere u should have public relation. Other conventioanal ways are yellow pages, industrial guides, Old list of leads, present users, like that many depending on the product. |

If there is an internal or outsourced media mgmt or engagement team, they also can be the next best base for lead generation
Finally satisfied or delighted customers would be generate other customers chasing you for the business, rather than you chasing the market for those leads
