Project completion report should contain things that provide necessary information for the steering committee to call the project is completed. Steering committe will be able to do that ony when it can see all the deliverables as per the scope of the project are met within the specified time, budget and quality. So, one need to go through the scope, deliverables, project plans, cost estimates, cost statements, and the quality bench marks and publish its analysis in the report. An additional section on end user satifaction survey and effectiveness of training if any would be a bonus to the steering committee. |

Unit estimates could be expressed in various formats.. say
an so on. This should be documented and classified based on the type of building or project under consideration,so taht the these unit estimates can be serve as a very good thumb rules for validating the success of Bidding future projects.. Apart from documenting variances of Schedule, Cost, Scope, Risk, Size and customer satisfaction. Lessons learned documentation is the vital input for the Organization executing projects. It is not necessary that Lessons learned section has to contain only mistakes, it can also contain risks, corrective and preventive steps taken to overcome challenges. In simple words lessons learned section of Completion report should contain "What went wrong", "What went correct" and "How things can be improved"... |

Every Project Completion Report (PCR) is the Stock Taking Report for the user concern after culmination of the entire Project. It entails the project final scope, Completion cost and Completion time. It also serves as Black box of details including deviation from original planned cost, time and pattern of utilization of the resources. PCR is also a Dossier of information regarding Methodologies of various activities, Constraints faced in execution, and forms the basis of forming policy guide lines regarding tackling the typical issues like Price escalation, contractual disputes and the like.
