What technological trends one can see in automobile industry ?

According to a recent article by Forbes Autos,there are five different technology trends that we’re starting to see regularly in cars. Each of the trends will really change automobiles in a big way.They are...

1) In-car computers

2) Connect Your MP3 Player

3) Bluetooth

4) Improved Navigation

5) Less Buttons

Dash board electronics, driver assistant systems , Passenger detection systems , Airbag control systems , Engine control units, transmission control units, Body control module , heating systems, cooling systems, navigation systems, Infotainment , Head up displays , ABS, ACC , Once started depending on getting money in terms of comfort , safety and reliability in extreme weather conditions.

I feel rasant will be the dash board and drive train technologies to be embedded on a SOC.

Interesting , already it has started in India , by OEMs in JV with Electronic control units developers.

But if OEMs go buying technology , this fields need local R & D local calibrations and tests , there is no ready made solution in here , directly it will be fate of FIAT .> Fault In All tiles!

New technology trend will also be traffic warning and highway channelling systems , and for trucks it will be a Fleet management systems,  city bus services , highway bus services etc ...

THe automobile market has got further segmented into B-, B+, C- & C+. The demand of lower end B & C segment cars have seen a decline whereas the upper segment in B & C have seen spurt in sales. THe customer needs are shifting towards more luxury, power & safety.

the technological trends a one can see is not only by attracting the customer's by putting an a bluetooth, less buttons or simply connecting their mp3 player's to the car system but if we go through ideally it has to be a user free systems but with those things which a customer should feel easy of while owning an economical drive, hereby we must conclude that due to rise and fall of inflation globally the company is not able to take any further risks as to launch their products in market without being well known of their loosy pockets so with an kind intention i preffer that an automobile should be overall good with an technological aspects rather unfitting the pockets of the customer.  

          And as the technological aspects are concerned then rather giving an automobile a bluetooth system or plug ins to a mp3 players it would be much easy to make the customer happier by applying sum more electronic components to the engine e.g a censor to check the oil before ignition  or sum other minor checks before switching on the engine as such these technologies are most helpfull to the customer and even it is user free modes to gather the attraction to the product from the market in these times. As if we can see very clearly that the automobiles which are been popular globally are using the same trend to attract a genuine customer to their brand as we can say dodge in their most hybrid technology they are applying the gauges in the car that display the proper engine oil check ups and other check ups displays in the dash board of the car to make the customer feel user free to a bit and to have a proper maintainence of his own vehicle which is previously customised by the company aspaects rather changing it up to an idea of his driving senses.  

Most of us know that technology has tremendously changed during this era....

The thing with which i m impressed the most  is the safety features these technologies are providing......

The safety was and i must say is still the most important factor to be considered by the manufacturers....

And the technological trend is just moving with the lightning speed these days...

People cannot even imagine the techs. ,gadgets, features, etc.... which they are getting and  will get in near future...

WE must conclude that automobile industry is booming with its hi-fi nd tremendous technology and is still going to get far ahead....

In the near future it seems that all the systems will be controlled by electronic control units specially safety systems. Right now specially in BMW cars all the systems are controlled using sensors and actuators connected to a main ECU. Systems such as automatic parking, air bags, adaptive headlights, ABS etc are now controlled by ECU nowadays.

Conversion of fuel to energy can become more perfect.Reducing losses of energy while gaining momentum and during slowing down. Preserve these energies to drive vehicle .Making vehicle to have less  road friction or to levitate the vehicle (by some means )is also a good thinking.

Just by introducing Solar enery along with petrol, effective use of air flow & motion of car we can touch 100 KMPL in cars on highways. All we need to see is transmission system.
