What will be the future innovations that will take place on mobile phones??

The phones will become a device to hold multiple real-IPs and will be essentially high-speed data exchange devices capable of geographical awareness about the user (GPS). This high-speed data capability will be used to provide a richer communication experience to the customer through IP Voice and video capabilities.The concepts emerging in the Internet arena (cloud computing, social networks, etc.) will converge/mash-up to provide value add to the customers. The switching challenge will be in terms of ensuring that the device is able to utilize the fastest/cheapest possible connectivity through FMC.

With increasing cross border business associations gaining worldwide significance. VOIP has great future, provided it gets support of legacy networks as well government.

With wafer thin margins and falling ARPU's VOIP can play a pivotal role in improving the telco's bottomlines as well product innovation opportunities.More and more WIFI and Wimax networks are developing across the globe including India, hence having wider choice of VOIP enabled mobile handsets will be a great idea. Mobile manufacturers are coming up with more VOIP enabled models, but this particular feature is still not highlighted or advertised.

In future newer versions they are incorporating what is called VOIP or voice over IP in cell phones compared to traditional formats such as GSM. VOIP is complemented with high-speed WLAN Internet connection, higher resolution cameras (2.0 MP+), radio (in addition to mp3 player), more web based applications, etc.

The telephone is programmed with a telephone number and when anyone calls the spy phone, it rings and operates as a normal telephone but when the phone is called using the previously programmed spy phone number, it automatically answers without any ringing or lights and the display appears as if it is on ordinary standby...

Recently, I realised that my present mobile's configuration is even better than my first computer's.

With the advent of new age cellphones (like iphone, htc android series), we get the power of whole computer in our hands. I not just play games, get HQ photos, watch videos, but I am able to check to my mails, calenders, view/store documents and even store grocery lists :)

So I say that today mobile is evolving as a PDA or more as a whole computer
