With advanced trends such as Location-Based Services (LBS), Augmented Reality (AR), Mobile internet, Mobile TV and influence of social media, the success of advertisers and brands will be defined more by “Relevance” than “Reach or Frequency.” In 2011, we will see advertisers combining the demographical, behavioral, geographical and contextual attributes which are unique to a consumer to transform campaign from an 'ad' to a 'personalized brand experience'. Products and services marketing will be customized to cater to individual tastes & preferences. To give an example, an augmented reality listing of restaurants in a particular street will be replaced by ads informing about specific restaurants that serve consumers' favorite cuisine in his/her preferred price range with discount coupons and offers.

Since the price war has already started amongst the various operators - the one with the best plan - both post and prepaid will come up trumps. Wtih number portability becoming a reality, it is all the more easy for the customer to switch loyalties to the better service provider.

In particular, I consider Mobile handset companies to come forward in a big way to promote and increase their existing market share. 1. the service providers now have to concentrate only on the various "customer service and relationship aspects" for retaining and maintaining a good loyalty base. "Personalization of services" will be another another key to cultivate clients and get referrals with various category of customers as per their parameters. The marketing and advertising In the process of segmenting the customer base, they will concentrate understand the latent needs of customers which have till then not been observed. 2. The mobile handset providers have now to concentrate on best offers through BTL and ATL activites. Multi-brand showroom will be more effective in this scenario.

Thanks to Mobile No.Portability Namrata Unless they improve their connectivity & service No advertisement & competitive tariff will bring stable business. Personally I feel that Customer will realize that 'The Grass is Really Not Always Green on the Other Side'.
