Considering each company, now a days all are thriving because of one of this aspect. To many it means good customer relationship, bonding & mouth to mouth publicity. But in actual it means value for the money, product satisfaction & loyalty towards the brand.

Rajesh I know you are very good in vocabulary, that is why we call you Dic, but you are very poor in understanding what others are trying to communicate."what according to you is the prime reason for investing in customer service??" is the question and you are saying something different. first invest some time to understand the question and then respond. I know why you have started the comment with words "for me customer service means....." it is just because the person who commented before you has done the same thing and you copied that. You became a copy cat and a blind goat, I pity you!!!!!!!!

For me customer service would mean to create more brand awareness and to get more referrals for my brand. That is the prime reason for me to invest in customer service, people will like a product when they are totally aware of it and it would do good if we are able to provide customer service in that regard, also if the customer service, you will also get more and more referrals. |

Customer service creates a strategic plan worth its weight for substainable product growth whilst value adding on the products specifications and deliverables.
SO, YES!!!........We have to keep not only investing in customer service but also finding novel ideas of creating NEW MEDIUMS of customer service to better our customer reach.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO TELL RAJESH SUNKARA that he has only defined the subject and not ideated.............So its u who shld be sorry and not be aggressive if someone is correcting you.
After 26 years in the business of customer service thru advertising and media....your comment was mundane and school like........Don't get in the debate incase you don't have anything to add.

Many a companies keep Customer service as a minimum requirement of Organization CHART.But, very few, use Customer Service to Sustain the market, particularly, when there is a growing trend in tough competition. Also, wisely they use the information gathered for refining the products further so that, the Market value can be boosted up in the Share-market. |

we are in business to trade, be it knowledge, skill or product. We as businessmen are here to sell, sell to whom ?, to buyers , our customers obeviously, . then understanding our customers, their queries, worries and requirements ( in terms of our products), is customer service, which is the only way to progress in any business. Take care of your customers and balance sheet will rock.
