Cities have emerged as the prime engines of the Indian economic growth and generators of national wealth. . . the future is inescapably urban, says a study, jointly conducted by the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Institute of Competitiveness.

The city is the berth of significant financial institutions like the Reserve Bank of India, Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India.

Numerous corporates and multinational companies have their headquarters in the city that attracts migrants from all over India. The city offers countless employment opportunities and is known for its interesting and high standard of living.

Dear All

I would always vote for Mumbai, but Mumbai has lost its charm, wrong government policy and illogical octroi and  taxing practice.

But with Modi in Gujurat, Ahmedabad, the state seems to have fine job market ahead.

Delhi is also doing good, but with lack of good social security and proper government interventions and appropriate place, Delhi will shine for few years ahead but wont keep shining for long.

Ahemedabad is progressing very fast, roads are broadend and BRTS being built in record time and over bridges are made so fast . Social security and political stability as well as labors cooperation is vital in industrial growth. No political interference and easy procedure in allotment of land for industries as well as peaceful atmosphere encourage the industrial growth.

Ahmedabad seem to fall behind the big 3 or 4 cities in the country but let me tell everyone it is the place besides employment opportunity in almost all major areas one can think of , it is great place to live.

Delhi & NCR Region

with common wealth games around, lot of development interms of infrastructure will make Delhi, Noida & Gurgaon more accessible as compare to other cities where there is no scope of improvements in infrastructure

Delhi Metro & Delhi International airport is very good example for the above mentioned developments
