Thanks for the referal Ms Sheetal I think being the Capital Delhi is the the best, it has some short comings but this is where all the action is. |

Dr. Ali I agree with you totally. At the time Delhi is not a safe City and the price is sky rocketing. Look at Kolkata the cheap and the best and completely safe but there are little short comings like red flags. Otherwise one will love to stay in that city.
Delhi is our capital, and now its becoming not only good, it is going to be the best in INDIA.
The standard of living is day by day becoming Royal, people over here are more friendly and now you can see all the brands in delhi...
you name the car if it is in India, then it must be in delhi.
Pooja,
Talking about standard of living.
I have been attached to Calcutta and Mumbai for long time, but the average standard of living is very low in comparison to chandigarh.
Standards does`nt comes with costly but comes with living styles and spen ding more for better and royal living.
All metro are having better standards but the new migrations and employment decreases the average standards of peoples.
Comparing all I felt Chandigarh is the royal standard of each individual.
|
|
In my view, Mumbai has Unique standards of its own - this is the city of Opportunities for everyone & anyone;whether skilled or unskilled;whether a language known or not and whether you have anyone for you or noone for you. You can make a living. |

Romita, the discussions here is about the standards.
Mumbai is very cheap and as well as very high class. U can find every type of class over there. The average people standards is not good in mumbai.
Yes Mumbai is the hub for money, employment etc. etc.
People stadard of living is best In Chandigarh , I think.
I have stayed in all the cities mentioned above.
One can consider Mumbai as it offers a cosmopolitan society with language, gender, age No Bar. Climate is over all good. For the young crowd it offers good entertainment with malls, multiplexes, small coffee joints, shopping streets as well as best night life in India.Good weekend gateways: a combi of Sea beach, valleys and Mountains (new Mumbai).
For the settled mass it has good societal and appartment complexes with all facilities. Educationwise its most dependable, Businesswise its the hub. Mumbai decides the Job market in India to some extent. Travel options are plenty to suit your pocket be it Taxi, Train or Bus. Safer than Delhi, Chandigarh and Kolkata. This city is the trend setter in terms of Financials & Equity, Investments & Fashion.
If you have a planned budget it offers a good lifestyle to all with varying salary ranges.
Thanks Sheetal for this debate. I support you without thinking much. As I had been to almost all metros I prefer Mumbai to others whether it is safety, access, etc. I was surprised to see even school kids are waiting queue in bus stand in night time. One more point I noted is one can live with 10rs a day and with 10000rs a day.

Bcos, Hyderabad is the only place where u can find lots of opportunities in healthcare, pharma and IT fields. It has optimum temperature all throughout the year. Hyderabad is developing day by day and is reaching new heights. It is a place where u can move around freely. It is one among the oldest city in India. Hyderabad is best in terms of education, jobs, business, and basic amenities to lead a happy life.

Indeed! Its Hyderabad! Why dont the Govt.make it Second Capital of the Country, as the idea has been always in the minds and news.
Hyderabad is the best. people of any standard of life can live in Hyderabad.
Ideally located to go to any place in India. IT , Pharma , Education, and so many industries in and around Hyderabad r flourishing.
I would say Hyderabad is the best place which has excellent living standards. It was also said in a survey out of all metros in India Hyderabad is the best place for any individual to settle down and any investor to invest. Because it is a cosmopolitan city with wide culture and best suitable to live among plenty opportunities. It has growing economy and standards.

Resitential, Transportation, Restaurants, Hotels, Inox, Theatre, Cultural Programmes etc all are available in any part of Kolkata throughout the year. The cost of LIVING is lowest amongst all the big cities |

Yes.. Kolkata is "the" cheapest. Less costly standard of living may mean : more savings, more education 4children and ultimately more relaxed life. And ... only then, U can think for ur society/ saroundings and its upliftment. Thanks.
|
|
So you call the standard of living , i think Chandigarh is having the most rich standard and costliest city in India. The single average standard of comon people is very high in comparison to population. |

chandigarh is the coolest city.
Chennai and Heydrabad are worst weather wise. They are the hottest. Most uncomfortable to live.
i think chandigarh is best city and beautiful city
If you go with the different reports like number of cars, valued cars, real estate reports, royal lifestyle reports, number of crime reports, etc. given by Govt of India, CII, CNBC TV, Bloomberg Channel, Income Tax Deppt. then you will get only one answer of CHANDIGARH. All the reports are on the basis of ratio of population of the city. Every family has average of 3 members out of 4 working/on job. It is the only city in India where no riots are happened yet and also very much good traffic system. crime rate in city is lowest of all in India. Every department in the city is very much efficient even consumer courts who make people aware time to ttime regarding there rights. There are many things which I can put if more details are required.

in my view its ok in Mumbai for unique life style/standards but if you want to living happy family life standard with social attachment-relation I prefer Ahmadabad.women go to anywhere at midnight there is no problem/harassment.

If this debate is confined to metros, I vote for Chennai because it is the safest when compared to all other metros. Kolkatta though it has a big cultural heritage, the red culture is a big hurdle. Mumbai and Delhi are costliest and are not totally safe from the security point of view. Chennai is the best. When it comes to other cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. the emerging metros, though I hail from Hyderabad, my vote is for Bangalore. When compared to Hyderabad, Bangalore is the safest place, because Hyderabad is becoming an Pakistan's ISI hub and every terrorist activity has some links with Hyderabad in the recent past.

Living standards has to be evaluated on many criteria such as Comfort affordability, pollution, basic facilities.....etc
without these one cannot judge any city coz all cities are BAD in terms of living healthy

Really a nice topic for debate. It is obvious that Mumbai have better living standards compared to Delhi. Delhi is full of corruption and corruption is increasing in Delhi and it is being protected by saying that Delhi is having better living standards.Obviously Mumbai is the city having best living standards.

Office Etiquette or Office Manners is about conducting yourself respectfully and courteously in the office or workplace I have noticed that as we go from college to the real corporate world it is hard to get used to a different environment.... |
