idea posted by Harish Kumar Manager Human Resources (Recruitment)

Hi Nikhil,

Anybody worth his weight in the Indian recruiting scenario would agree with me, that each of the job portals available to us are unique in their own way. So before you decide on which portal to go for, it would be a good idea to get in touch with all the marketing professionals from all the job portals and make them demonstrate to you the database size of the people with the skills that you require. I can assure you that all the job portal folks give this demonstration. Without knowing which portal is potentially more viable for the skills you want to hire, it would be futile to go ahead and buy a portal because it has worked for an X recruiter. Honestly, to each his own, and recruiters typically are comfortable with any one portal and would like to use it for all the skills. But in a corporate environment, the ideal way would be to identify skills and then based on that go ahead and use the relevant portal. For example, if you are looking at hiring IT folks, naukri may be a good option, some of the niche skill folks in Financial KPOs are found on monster and timesjobs. So, as I said, it would depend on the skills you are looking to hire. Please connect to me directly if you need more inputs. Hope this input helps you. Take care.

It all depends upon your requirement, TAT and many more factors like the number of candidates are easily available in market or not, etc.

NAUKRI.COM

I would like to suggest Naukri.com because of its promptness, accuracy & formation. Toostep has a long way to go as of now. But it has a more complex and effective list of experienced staff which the other sites don't.

WE  ARE WRITING ON TOOSTEP'S DISCUSSION BOARDS for so long.

so the issue is, even if TOOSTEP is not number one goddarn it make it number 1.

you pepple are all successful management practitioners.( it can happen ???)

loyalty in the world of business / life is of utmost importance.

i agree with you Ajay on this matter, toostep now should go all out by making its presence felt in India than ever before, its a unique site not like a forum which is having only single industry type, but here you find people from all the industries and sharing their domain knowledge on the platform and no other site is there in India i guess for that matter apart from toostep, so how do you think we can make toostep more visible apart from referrals to our known contacts, as one can learn and also has a good job portal to go with it....thanks

I'll strongly recommend for monster only. As I'm using this portal for last 2 years & now with its advanced features its really worth to work with it. Also it gives to international or global exposure also.

hi

i hv used naukri, monster and using timesjobs. all of them r good ones. however what i hv seen is that companies are subscribing to naukri generally. so if u subscribe to naukri u may land up with common database which companies probably have. to some extent this also applies to monster too.

times jobs is more cost effective. however if u need references for any or all of these sites so that u may get in touch with their representatives, i can provide them instantly with their contact or mail ids. it may turn out to be cost effective too

idea posted by Deepak Agrawal Consultant, Independent Consultant

I think selection of your job portal depends upon requirement.

Requirement consist oF Industry, Geographical location/Skills/ Budget etc.

Every portal has its unique feature like some has expertise in getting candidates for overseas location because they have better tie up with other global job portal. Similarly some portal has good database of industry specific like banking/software etc.

We can't generalise it we have to define our requirement and then appropriately select a portal.

www.HarNeedi.com, India's No 1 Jobsite for Healthcare and Pharma

idea posted by Chandra shekhar Technical Writer/Quality Assurance, CMMI 3 Software Company, Hyderabad

Its good to see the list of job portals here, but non among these are industry specific, I means to say that “they cater both IT as well as Healthcare and its allied groups such as Pharma, biotech, KPO, and BPO. Coming to Harneedi.com, India's No 1 Jobsite for Healthcare and Pharma, is an Industry specific job portal that provides eRecruiting service to Healthcare and Pharma companies in India.

As India is a densely populated country where recruitment of skilled and experienced professional by the recruiting company has become a tedious job and therefore has created a big gap between the employer and employee. With the launch of Harneedi.com in the year 2009, this gap was filled and it has also satisfy the need for skilled professionals in the field of Healthcare and Pharma. It is the only job portal that provides job opportunities to students and professionals from Healthcare and Pharma domain.

Harneedi.com is a focused job site delivering exact match, by the help of its ingeniously developed search engine “KROMA”, between Healthcare and Pharma Employer and Employee. It is not only a job site that provides recruitment solutions to healthcare and pharma companies but also a knowledge commune, i.e. by its featured section such as Industry related article; discussion forum; latest news from Healthcare, Pharma, and Biotech sectors; updates on ongoing and future events by Healthcare and Pharma companies, institutes, and communities in India. Harneedi.com is also supported with opinion poll section where in an individual can mark their opinion with respect to the question provided.

Looking at the urgent need for skilled professional from Healthcare and Pharma domain, Harneedi.com has conducted Healthi job fair in Hyderabad'09 and Mumbai'10 and has observed a good response from students, professionals, and Healthcare and Pharma employers.

Harneedi.com as a part of CSR (Corporate social responsibility) has organized many social awareness programs, few among them are AIDS awareness day, World Environment Day, and many more. Over all Harneedi.com is the only job portal with a better understanding for the exact needs of human life i.e. exciting/interesting career and healthy/knowledge full life.

If you are from Healthcare and Pharma background then logon to: Harneedi.com

Everybody sharing their ideas and they are debating hot topics with other expert. So, Toostep is excellent portal for this kind of services.
