It is all about location with SiRF Technology, provider of GPS chips
and embedded software. Founded in 1995, the company provides GPS
technology for portable and automobile navigation systems, notebook
computers and wireless handheld devices. Looking ahead, SiRF has
announced plans to support the not-yet-released mobile platform from
Google, called Android.

I truly feel unless companies think big..none would able to touch Microsoft and Google. These companies started with a some vision. Microsoft has a vision to have a PC on everydesk ..thats whats happening today...Google had a vision to take the web to different level..its what happening today. I don't see any other company that has such vision and stick to it. I know lot of companies who started with some purpose but loose the focus at later stage...they start doing everything possible on this earth except what they originally visioned for..:-)
