Which option is the best option that has been given to the Telangana region??

In the recent Sri Krishna report there were six options that has been given to the government..


The following are the six options given by the Justice Srikrishna Committee on the vexed issue of separate statehood for Telangana to be carved out of Andhra Pradesh:

  1.  The committee has recommended letting Andhra Pradesh be united and have special constitutional measures for development of the Telangana region.
  2.  The second option is bifurcation of the state into Seemandhra and Telangana states.
  3.  The third option is having Telangana and Andhra as separate states with Hyderabad as the Telangana capital.
  4.  The fourth option is Hyderabad to be given a union territory status. The two regions will develop their own capitals in due course.
  5.  The fifth option is to divide the state into Rayala-Telangana and coastal Andhra regions, with Hyderabad as an integral part of Rayala-Telangana.
  6.  The last option the committee has offered is creation of statutory empowered Telangana regional council.


So which option is the best for that region??  plz share your views on this people

I would like to take this stand because tomorrow some other State in India may demand to bifurcate the state and there should not be any precedence. Our neighbor State AP is suffering because of the political drama ill-conceived based on the power politics, ego, mussel power, and with an eye on vote banks.

Let the Centre maintain status quo.There are many much more important things to be handled,problems to be solved that focusing on this unproductive issue which is going to help a handful of people.

Thanks Natteraja for referral.I am of the opinion that it should remain as it is otherwise tomorrow we will find that everybody on some pretext or the other ask for smaller states, which will increase the govt. expenditure and output will go down.

I think the first option is the best among the lot, where Telangana region will be given special constitutional measures for its  development which has been neglected till date.  All other options are not in the best interest of development of that region.

i favour the last option.The reason being that regional backwardness has spurred the movement and a separate province is no solution.

After the almost 60 years, Our Selfish Political Leaders again busy in making small pieces of the great country- BHARAT. They are same selfish like past ruler Britishers and dividing country. They are ruining great freedom efforts of Father of Nation- Our great Mahatma Gandhi as well as Leader of Nation- Sardar Vallahbhai Patel, who made one Union- One India from several ruler- kins of different states. Now, Our Politicians again need own kingdoms...!!! Shame on them...

United A.P. with special status for telangana

Creating a Telangana state will have a bad economic impact since large population of the said region are back ward and economically poor. So the best way is to have an united A.P. with special economic and political status.

Amicable Settlement

This regional imbalance is in vogue ever since Andhra was formed inspite of common local language. Division is the only way out, otherwise the tension in the State will be mounting causing tremendous loss to public properties and exchequer. All the parties should sit and discuss the pros and cons, as also Justice Sri Krishna Committee Report, taking socio, politico and economic angles in mind, amicably settle the issue without procrastinating. Here, the ruling party is trying to score a political point over this issue, as they are in danger of losing power in AP.

common man is the victim for ruined political wishes. He did not understood this. All spheres of people in telangana became anti andhra and at any cost now they need separate state. The situation is so worse, unconsciously students, lawyers, doctors, teachers every body protesting without no means. Now no body cannot change the situation, since no such powerful personality exists in central. only option left now or after is to separate only. rest of andhra is also vexed with this behaviour, hence andhra also thinking it would be better to part rather than living with this hyper centric people. But once again common man became the victim for this dirty politics.
