I think many of the Indian students who are returning from US to India for their career.....they are interested in private sector jobs as the pay is good and the work pattern matches the same as US and also with that kind of pay the loans which they had taken to pursue their course will be easy for them to return in a shorter period of time. Hence Private sector jobs attracts many of the Indian US students. |

The reason they are returning is because they are meted with second class citizens for those who have green card and with the recent mishap in one of the so called fictitious university. Well on return they will opt for career with Private Players since most of them may not get a job in Government being over age and the Government has put a unwritten ban on new employees.

I think Entrepreneurship scene in India gives these Indian US students a great perspective as India is clearly a focused destination of global investors and corporations, including tech-oriented ones that help create a conducive environment for tech entrepreneurs through supporting them in their journey to realize their India ambitions. I think the number of entrepreneurs are growing in India.....and I agree with Puja here regarding Private sector jobs, I think its the top choice but entrepreneurship scene in India is also making Indian US students to make their career in India.

Indian students who are returning from US to India for their career normally interested to join private sector jobs with clean working environment as that suits them to work their own and develop themselves instead of hickups as found normally in govt. sectors. Also presentation & implementations of new ideas is very much possible in private sector than in govt sectors.

According to me they would be best suited to the above three sectors because of the experience they would have gained on them. Also these are the sectors where their advanced education and knowledge would come in handy. OTher sectors are still backward compared to the US.

Most of the students who do their higher education from US< have the tendency to come back to their homeland and get into IT sector or to become an Entrepreneur. But most of them fail by entering directly into business as they would have only knowledge and not knowledge from experience. But if there are people who can mentor them well, things can shape out well.
