This might sound a bit strange but Team India they bat very well and then suddenly you see next they crumble like a pack of cards. With a good batting line up consistency has to be maintained. While in fielding they have to go at the ball and not wait for the ball to come to them. If they give even a single chance to the opposition, then the opportunity will be gone begging and nothing can be done later, so they should not take their foot of the peddle...keep applying more n more pressure so that the opposition crumbles. |

Thanks people for participating in this....Indian team is strong but only on paper, on field it is still yet to be tested against the good teams, and with niggling injuries alongside it will test the fitness of players and cirumspect players like zaheer, yuvraj, nehra and few others will pose problems as the tournament progresses....also many Indian players need to keep fresh themselves for the Cash rich IPL which happens just after 6 days after world cup and you might see players not giving their complete 100% in these world cup matches....
Batting is going great guns but Fielding is way down in slumber. They definitely need to wake up.. Also, just Sachin n Sehwag can't win the cup alone. Half our team is in some way or other injured. Health will pose a concern. About bowling, can't really say anything as of now. Australia played a good inning yesterday. We can never rule them OUT. Also, Pakistan can be very unpredictable and kill chances of many.

The Indian cricket team's strength lies in its batting.The limited over matches are basically batting and fielding specific.The fielding may spoil the day otherwise,I do not think any team has strength except India to claim "World Cup".

I had already made the point,the last fixture against England could not be won for poor fielding.

There are several good teams in the fray. The win against Bangladesh is not something to gloat about as it happens to be a baby in the field alongwith kenya. The chance of winning the match against england was lost because of not breaking the partnership of england captain. |
