The existing CWG comittee with Kalamadi at its head is fully responsible for all the mess, we cannot absolve the Delhi Govt also from this mess, along with the ministry of sports. Kalamadi should go forthwith & a new special com. with full powers should take over all activities. Who are Tom (Cong. spokesman ) and his ilk trying to hoodwink the Nation by invoking "National Pride" ? It's time to redeem National pride. National Pride has little to do with Ruling party / Govt. pride. Nation is not the Govt. in power / to be in power. It is the People of the Nation who may or may not be in unison with the Govt. in Power. It's high time for Change as stated also by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Suhail Seth & others. Mr. Seth has very aptly put forward the views of the majority of the educated & conscious citizens of Bharat. Why is the PM, UPA Chairperson silent ? Are they meant to take credit only for the good and pass on the buck when there is grime, corruption, wrong doings & deprivation ? |

To me it is the organising committee alone. As the nodal agency in-charge, they are supposed to motior the progress of work and raise an alarm when something is badly done or not done.
And for their mis-deeds they have let down the whole nation.
the games should be conducted as scheduled to save our image, then entire committee should be disolved and all members should be barred from holding any such post for next 15 years and should be sacked from all other such bodies,
Its like a Virus which has entered in few people's blood which will never end, it will errupt again and again, kalmadi and gang is active in such activities from Pune aisad times and this time they were unfortunate to get caught
All the extra cost incurred on these games should be recovered by attaching properties of individual committee members...
You are absolutely right Swetha. The PM, UPA Chairperson will always remain silent. As they remained silent in the IPL issue, (may be as Sharad Pawar wanted to safeguard the then IPL Chairman) such sensitive issues will never be referred to CBI and even if referred will never be properly investigated.

These are the people who are behind all this mess. If they were really dedicated we wouldn't have to see this day today. But these people are busy filling up their own pocket rather than giving a high standard work. The government should also had stepped in to check the standard of work but our politicians do not have time since they are engrossed in some nonsense issues. |

Time & again, We, the Indians are forgetting and forgiving the wrong-doings of the Govt. Right from the Spectrum Issue, CBI misuse, poor handling of naxalites issue, Kashmir issue, biased treatment for Opposition ruled States issue etc., the Central Govt miserably failed to perform. Things are moving just on its own and no one is bothered to take control of everything. Recent result is CWG scandal. The entire central govt is wholly responsible for this humiliating debacle. They have lot of people, viz, Tiwari, Singhvi, Jayanthi to come out with lame excuses time and again. Poor people, Poor Administration
The action by the government is just to escape from the mess. There has to be an enquiry by a Join Parlamentry Commitee to reveal all the corruptions.
If we think we are independent Nation we should reject CWG. CWG is nothing but the proof of English Mastership. I know many of the so called progressive and market minded people will reject my argument, But should we allow market to by pass our self respect.
Participation in CWG is just doing insult to our freedom fighters.
As far as currpution is concerned we can not expect other thing from current dynasty ruling the Nation.

You can not pin down the freeloaders,even though they are known faces.BG OR GB,CWG2010 must be hosted without much hurdles as more is at stake than any common man imagines.

All are resposible for the Commonwealth Games mess. Including Delhi government CM, their Contractor, their leaders.They all eat the money. Hope these games leave a good impression on other country. We Just hope...

It is not the question of 'WHO" its the question of "WHAT". Its our greed, oue sense of false pride (personal not national), our self centered approach, our dual personality one for self and one for nation and our disbeleif on our culture and preachings of great epics of land like Gita, Guru Granth Sahib and epics adopted by land like Kuran and Bible. Ask those corrupt officials and they will be able to tell you about Gita more than you know..but of what use? |

The CWG has not been able to organize the games properly and the Government which provides money has failed to monitor the progress and other issues of the event. Both are equally responsible for the mess. This event will be a national shame. it will put India in such a bad shape that even other aspects like foreign investments etc., will be effected.

I think it's very bad patch on our Nation. I dont know how our present goverment will wash this patch, OR as usualy we will forget all this after CWG get finish. But its sure nothing will come out. After all its Money Game....... |

ITS MY EARNEST APPEAL TO ALL THE CITIZENS OF INDIA THAT IT`S NOT THE TIME TO BLAME ANYONE FOR THE CWG FUNDS BEING MIS -UTILISED BUT IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR NATION`S PRIDE WE SHOULD LOOK AHEAD & SEE TO IT THAT THE GAMES ARE HELD IN THE RIGHT TIME WITHOUT FAIL AS IT WOULD CREATE CONFUSION, MISUNDERSTANDING INTERNATIONALLY & PLAYERS WOULD HESITATE TO PARTICIPATE.ONCE THE GAMES ARE OVER THESE MATTERS CAN BE INVESTIGATED & THE GUILTY BE PUNISHED. |

I dont agree at all with the idea of organising CWG in India. Its silly on the part of the Govt to spend crores in organising an event in a country where still people die of hunger,where still people are homeless, where people still get to eat only one time meal and where people have to walk long streches to fetch water. So where is the logic? whom they r trying to entertain? Arent we r just hypocrate and showing to the world that we are well equipped and well prepared.
