In my view Chennai has the best bunch of players out of all the teams.They have specialist players for all the three departments in cricket and moreover they have three best allrounders who are playing world cricket at this point of time-Albie Morkel,Flintoff & Oram.And last but not the least they have the best captain going on in world cricket currently-MS Dhoni.They were the losing finalists last season but this time I am sure that they will definitely lift the trophy. |

Even i too agree with Mehernath, Chennai superkings are the favourites to win and Mainly because of MS Dhoni and he is the best captain in more than 100 years as suggested by the news reports, and under his captaincy they will not put a foot wrong this time, and they will be the champs this time...
Well I am still with Chennai super kings. But have you all noticed the winner is already out... and that's IPL. Where ever you play in the world every country has a representative in each team.
And watched by every one with same interest. Last year it was whole India and this year it's the whole world doing the same thing at same time.

They came First from the Last in the last year's edition, But with new uniform and with a great team they have started this edition in a positive manner winning both of their games...and this team is a force to reckon in this IPL season 2...with Gilchrist leading the team, with able team to assist him are having a great chance to win the Competition..This time it will be the opposite result, being First from the Top and not from the bottom.. |

Well I am so excited that Deccan Chargers are the IPL Champions for 2009. Just goes to show with with good team spirit, hard work and a positive attitude you can be the winner. "Always try to improve on your failures".

Yes Devi you are right and though they have finished at the bottom last year, this year they are looking totally a new outfit, and with the change of their dress i guess their luck has also changed, even last year they were the strongest team, but they lost all those close matches...Even without Symonds and Afridi they are getting things done...Hope they continue their good run and win the IPL trophy....

Eventhough it is hard to predict thw winners till the last ball I would like to see Tendulakar lift the trophy this time. The way they are performing even when Sachin is not contributing much they desrve the cup this year.
IPL is in its last matches. But we are not sure who will be the who will be the other 3 teams with Mumbai Indian in semifinals.
Teams which were playing good in initial matches started playing hopelessly and started loosing matches to weak team. This shows that whole of the tournament is planned in such a way suspense should remain there till the last match before semis, so that each match should be able to get good crowd and IPL management should get good profits.
Now, big questions is who will win IPL 2010. Ground will be full if Sachin and Dhoni plays final match and everybody will love to see Tendulkar lifting the trophy.
So, Final will be played by Scahin team and Dhoni team and winner will be Sachin.
IPL Stands for Indian Pre-Planned League.
Whole IPL is fixed and planned.
Like this team very much as love the city of Mumbai, as this was my first city were I started my career. So it has a soft corner.

They are amazingly well matched in the 'explosive' batsmen department! What with Gauti in form and Viru's blade blazing at 'any' given time! AB De Villiers striking rich with a ton and in the current season 3/3... I have my money on DDDevils! T20 is all about the BAT doing all the talking as the limited overs (read 50) get limited to a mini skirt version!! Explosive batting is what you have to have, the bat needs to do the talking and right now its only DDDevils thats showing us the fireworks!! |

As of yesterday... TEAM DELHI topped the tables of IPL 2009!! :D
Delhi Daredevils are going to be the champ of IPL 2.
Glenn Mcgrath is the one who will bring victory with his bowling, McGrath is the best fast bowler in all type of cricket and it is so hard to hit for runs when he is bowling. Only Sachin and brain Lara managed to hit him in few occasion but not this time...
Delhi has the best opening pair....And AB de villers of South Africa has an advantage as they are playing in their country.
Yes markand this time delhi daredevils are on a song, and to go with it is having the world's best opening pair that is Viru and Gauti, and then the explosive AB de villiers, Mc grath is also there, and the whole team is really combining together, with their unbeaten streak this time are sure to the champs.....so do watch out for Delhi daredevils.

I think they are in good form this time...with a good start to the competition with a thumping victory over....Rajasthan Royals...and some what they lost the momentum by loosing 4 games on the trot...but then came back with vengence under Anil kumble's captaincy winning the next 3 matches in a convincing manner...and the last match against the Mumbai team...they completely dominated them....with the right momentum by their side and most of the foreign players are from South Africa..so it will help them in a good way as they know the conditions than any other team at the moment...so one can expect them to bounce back this time around..and will finish stronger...or even may upset the top teams suggested by others here......Go Bangalore.......... |

Wow....the teams that finished last from the season 1 have taken the Top spots this time around..Half the way through bangalore was in the bottom of the table this season, but then the inspired leadership of Anil kumble made some tremendous ground and were consistent performers, reaching the Finals, it was sad to see Royal challengers loose, but i guess it was not their day...and i am really happy for both Deccan chargers and Royal challengers taking the top spots this time around..and hope they continue the same in the coming champions league and Next IPL...

I beleive the same situation will repeat this time. In IPL I, Rajasthan royals was not in high profile team and they lost very first match and then magic of coach cum captain Shane warne came in picture. This time also they lost first match, second one was washed out by rain and thrid one they won by super over. So now they are improving. As per team combination, it is right they dont have many super stars but still Greame smith, shane warne, yousuf pathan are there with lime light and many more is yet to come in light. |

i don't think so Sanjay, as the last time winners, they had Shane watson and Sohail tanvir in their team and they were mainly responsible for the way the Rajasthan Royals played, and this time both of them are not playing, and one can't see the same level of performance from them this time as they did in the previous one.....

It does not matter whichever team wins.You will want the team from your city to win of course.Leave that apart, it is INDIA THAT WON THE HEARTS OF THE WORLD ! India shows the world that we are a peace loving nation who can contribute positively and WE ARE SURELY SHINING AMIDST OUR NEIGHBOURS ! |

Yes i agree with you Ramachandran...Indians have won people's heart in a different nation altogether with this IPL..and cricket is gaining popularity world over with IPL's success...and it is also good that Indian players are shining in these matches...as it will be good preparation for them for the coming world T20 cup in England later....And Indian Team is the strongest team..as they will be defending their cup this time...so it is good to see Team India becoming a force to reckon with..and the day is not far where Indian cricket team is No.1 in the world...

Mumbai Indians seems likely to win the IPL 2010 trophy because of their many wins. However, it is unpredictable at this stage since we are not sure who they will be facing in the semis. Lets hope they make it to the finals. |
