Every Organisation is using CRM (customer relationship management). Is it so important that every organisation has one ?

I can just recollect one of the importance of using CRM in an organisation. i.e. As CRM contains the details about the customer i.e name, place, purchase history,issues and all. This information is so important for an organisation in providing the customer the answer he/she needs without having to wait for a longer and without visiting different departments.

I do think CRM can help CSR to solve the issue in a low time. Consider a customer giving a call again for the same issue, he need not repeat the whole story again. CSR can just have a look in the CRM system and can solve the issues at once or earlier. This will not only help the customers to save their time, it will also help the organisation to get in touch with more customers and solve the issue arised.

I think the the reports taken from the CRM can be used by advertising and marketing planners to find out which ideas will work and which will not because they can target the specific market which the information/report/database they have. This will lead to more responses to the advertisement and a more effective marketing campaign.
