A recent leading global HR solutions study said, Indian companies rank top among global peers in employee satisfaction, reflecting their successful business practices. India ranks highest with 76 per cent on country-level Performance Excellence Index (PEI index) of 14 countries which includes Russia, US and Japan. The index tracks employees' views of product and service quality and the firm's focus on customer service, quality, training and employee involvement.

In my opinion, Indian companies are now much aiming at employee growth as a business strategy and the key to sustaining business growth is to combine insight and foresight with creative application of technology to develop markets and meet evolving needs of consumers. This is where they are encouring more opportunities to excite and retain the employee talent through employee engagement and performance excellence in a good organisational culture.
