NON-SENSICAL REVELATION OF YOUR PRIVACIES TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD

idea posted by PS Dhingra CEO & Vigilance & Transformation Management Consultant, Dhingra Group of Management & Educational Consultants

There is a clear difference between revealing personal information (general bio-data) and personal self (privacies). Social networking is not bad, but only to the extent of revealing your genuine personal information. If you start revealing your PERSONAL SELVES (privacies) at the social media sites, you will be doing nothing except demonstrating your foolishness to the outside world by revealing your privacies to millions of the unknown world.

Since you become so addicted to the social media sites, a time comes, when you are not able to distinguish what personal information or private information (personal self) you would have started revealing to others, what even your very nears and dears might not be knowing about you.

I saw one lady writing on Facebook, "Feel like a second honeymoon now."

What do you think about revealing such type of personal self to the outside unknown world, which millions of people may be able to see about you?

Hi Yogesh,

Thanks for providing potential eye-opener echnologocal threats about revealing the personal selves on facebook, etc.

There is a potential for failure of security in both personal and business context in social networking . While many sites apply certain measures to keep any of these cases of harassment, cyber-stalking, online scams, and identity theft to an absolute minimum, you still may never know.

Thanks Shrikant Manohar for the compliments. Whatever knowledge I have, I try to share with members.

We need to constantly refresh our world of stocks of knowledge by participating in relevant flows of new knowledge .Flows require reciprocity : why would you exchange a flow of knowledge without trusting me to do the same? yet trust is difficult to build and maintain if we keep a significant part of ourselves hidden.
