An entreprenuer should build a brand right from day one as that is what is going to keep you going in your business in thge long term. That is the sum total of all your efforts. Your/ organisatgions succes will be measured on your brand value or worth. Example: Gopinath was a relatively unknown entity in the aviation sector but he built a successful brand called Air Deccan which was ultimately bought over by kingfisher. Even today people remember the brand even though it has been re-branded as King Fisher Red.

rightly said Jaygopal, branding is more than just a business buzzword, it should be included in your every aspect of business.
It has become the crux of selling in the new economy...

You know You have already persuaded some friends and a few former colleagues to join your start-up and are now trying to hire a few more key people. “I am quite happy where I am right now. I am not really looking for change,” is what you’d usually hear from really good people, the kind you’d want to hire for your start-up. One of the key factors in their decision-making will be your brand and what it’s perceived as. At this stage, when you have just started or have not even become operational, it may seem counter intuitive to talk of your ‘brand’- don’t be fooled, the day you began dealing with people other than the founders, you began building your brand.

true to that sasi, brand building would definately draw racetrack for even big future decision making at corporate level.. how wud u know weather your hardwork is being recognized by the market or not! Similarly what part of product personality requiers alteration dat can be measured by the intensity of brand strength..and I think an org can decide rejection/enhancing of particular product/service only after pilot testing of brand equity!

It is this vision of what your company is (or will be) that you need to sell, starting with your team all the way to your customers and their customers (the reason Intel advertises its products to consumers, who are its customers’ customers). Some of you may feel uncomfortable with the idea of ‘selling’, be it your products, your company or yourself. The lesson you need to draw from good sales people is that selling is less about talking and all about listening, So listen to what the world is telling you and be consistent and true to yourself, and the brand will take care of itself.

I believe that when a bill is rejected so many times there has to be loopholes in the bill too and we can clearly see them. The main problem is that we are too emotional that we are not able to find the realistic approach to the matter. |
Yes Virag the idea is good and it will work more for the other sompaies than the real creators... |
There are certain levels of a society. What we want is everyone should get what they deserve. Abolishing poverty won't mean that all the works will stop. |
