Going to a multiplex today is becoming more of a planned outing than an instantaneous one because of two factors – expense & availability. Even though pirated copies, which is convenient and preferred by a majority of Indian youth, are available all over the place, films with cutting edge technology such as Avatar or Inception are considered multiplex must-watches. Also Multiplexes gives you that quality that one deserves for the 150-300 Rs that one is paying. |

i think its the abov factors wich lures ppl in multiplxs.. the digital print and dolby surround sound gives quite an experince watchin a movie, moreover the facilities are too good small things such as comfortable chairs , recliners, AC,.etc , u dont hav to visit the bathroom holdin your nose and u dont hav to think twice b4 touchin any plac or leanin to a wall.. as it is expensive many hooligans who try and destroy property(litterin and tearin out cushion,.etc) dont visit multiplx wich is an added advantage.. |

IT IS ALL UNDER ONE ROOF,ONE CAN CHOOSE WHICH MOVIE TO GO AMONG THE AVAILABLE THEATERS,TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ONE THEATER.SURE OF SPENDING TIME.FOOD COURT TO FILL THE BELLY.
yes, right. Because they got all facility same place then why go somewhere else?

Multiplexes are definitely doin good...many reasons are there.. few of my observations listed below. 1. many a times friends meet n decide to go to movie...multiplex provides lot of options from hindi, english or regional movies. 2. in addition to above multiplexes play movies at various times other than traditional 12, 3, 6, 9 times. thus one can plan n watch movie as per his/her convinience. 3. if one is willin to spend entire day in multiplex ..it is very much possible wit all the restaurants, shops n someplaces with video n other games as well. this becomes a nice and perfect hangout place for youngsters. 4. anyhow the disposable income in current society is much more than in previous thus they can afford to loose some bugs over luxury, service, Db D surround sounds, few with 3D surround sounds, nice 270 degree experience n all... i will conclude with major reason as various options and variable timings is wat makin them run the show.... |

I have been to many multiplexes and noted that with prosperity,the people more and more are inclined to maintain privacy.One would hardly find roving eyes in the these modern big screens.
