Why Indians are way ahead of other immigrants in US?

I think the main attribute here is that, Indians are head-and-shoulders above others, and this is because of their English language skills and also the advanced education that many of them are bringing to the US. As there is dearth of knowledgeable professionals in US, and India has the highest number of  young minds which are ready to take on anything at the moment.

India has gone through so many crisis situations, has poverty problems, has to deal with irresponsible leadership, and issues like RESERVATIONs, State DIVISIONS keep popping up now and then and so many more.  But despite all these, Indians have kinda developed a great quality of adapting to situations at any given stage.  And this adaptation is NOT being submissive but rather fighting against it and getting a solution or a way around, which eventually gets the work done.  We always had less number of resources and more problems and had to find someway out of it.  This spirit has evolved greatly over the times.  So now when we seen Indians excelling in almost all the fields is the result of this adaptation.

We are able to think OUT OF THE BOX to find a solution because that thinking process or getting things done with LESS or FEW resources is somewhere part of our DNA :-)

This would be true for all the places across the world but more so for the US because of labor being costly they need manpower to cut down the labor cost and increase production.  Indians have knack of solving such problems :-) and hence they dominate !

Indians are well cultured in their sociability & wants to lead from the front. They know exactly what others are expecting from them. There sense of humour is ultimate. They are well versed in managing things. They know that their work is their worship. Indian is known by way of his sociability to help others whoever it is. They are not fickle minded. They are psychologically stronger than any other people in the world. And last but not the least that Indians want respect at any cost that is why they prefered respect  than money.And American wants loyalist. Thats  why they trust Indians than any other people in the world.

Indians work harder; know how to work with lesser resources; come through the grind of tough competitive conditions in education and life in general. Many of the Indians are from the middle-class -  the aspriring class - and know how to appreciate and treasure the money that they earn. Last but not the least Indians give a lot of emphasis to higher education.

Loyalty and commitment are the virtues that keep Indians ahead of others. It does not mean that other communities are not loyal or not committed but when an Indian leaves his/her comfort zone, he behaves as per age old Indian ideals. And then the traditional learning process of Indians gives them a definite edge over others. It was true when ancient Indians moved out to Indo-China region, to south east Asia, to Mongolia, to British colonies and now to America and Europe.

Yes, to be honest most of Indians are very good in English Language Skills. It is compared to other Asian countries. Educational levels are also high. 

The progress in India is not really equal, some other places are still struggle and some of them are on top of even other Europe countries.

Anyhow, advantages in Technology skills as well. Hope that, in very near future all places must be same. 

one of the main reason i attribute to these Indians who reaches the helm of a company i think is that either their past experience in working in India or that unique "Indian" tag of course education is a must  but all those qualities are well there at the top for other nationalities and there is always a substitute for an educated person or a linguist ...if you consider the Chinese they are hard working and they have many brilliant people also and mind you their new generation are adapting to English very quickly...i ll tell you one simple example consider Indra Nooyi she herself has confessed that India is the most difficult market to predict and if you can survive here you will succeed anywhere in the world and why for that case  Indira Nooyi, enormous number of automobile companies have admitted that India is a tough market to deal with....remember the lady from kerala who shocked the coca cola company and made them close their factory there ...its such a vibrant community  here that any thing can be expected here and if you can win over here you can manage anywhere in the world ...may be one day you will here infosys the best IT company in the world the other day you will see a 7000 crore satyam scam ....india itself is a university where you can see within every hundred Km'S there is a change in language slang, attitude everything change and we have that broader sense of thinking which when polished with a good education takes you to the zenith...i think all other qualities like language or cheap labour everything has a substitute in this world but to understand India you have to be an Indian...
