Politician word; now a days became abuse...dog also afraid being called politician.. Govt does not have courage to take any strict action against such people like Raj...they have their own interest....believe in creating chaos and nuisance...thay had been taught by britishers... than only they will be important part of the society. We poor people...trust on judiciary and constitution of country...ruled by such corrupted politicians and machinery |

I would like to make it more clear, our PM, Ms Gandhi, UPA have poor decision making skills when it comes to social issues.

Politics is not ment to do favour to common man, each political party thinks in it's own interest. Rest is so simple. |

I am no student of jurisprudence but I am trying to understand the real meaning of democracy in India. Everybody behaves the way it is convenient to him be it a politician, religious sect, even a common man. The Thackeray’s men–rightly took pride in speaking their own language but wrongly forced it on others. I can’t forget the manner in which the MNS goons had compelled the shopkeepers to replace their signboards in Marathi. After the defeat of Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena in the assembly elections, many thought that there will be an end to their ‘the son of the soil’ campaign. But their battle for Marathi manoos as they have no other political issue to keep them alive for another five years continues. Bal Thackerays statement speaks volumes of his frustration. “The Marathi manoos has ditched me. I have no faith in anything- the people, Marathi manoos or even God.” What the Thackerays don’t understand is that the country has moved forward, not by inches but miles, since they launched the ‘son of the soil ‘ campaign primarily to capture power. If they had been truly passionate about the ‘son of the soil ‘ issue then they should have travelled a few hundred kms to Gujarat, where every Gujju walk and talk Gujrati without making any fuss about it or bashing up the poor taxi drivers or labourers. So, lets admit the fact. In today’s global economy one has to come out of the cocoon built by language or geographical boundaries. The change is perceptible in South. In a small town of Tamil Nadu, Puddokottai English learning centres are mushrooming. Why? Children who studied in government schools are now flocking to these centres to learn the language. And those who studied English in Convent schools are now trying to improve their diction. Again why? Because they have found jobs in call centres.

I think India thrives on vote banks and doesn't take any action where there is involvement of religion, region and other things which are considered to hamper the elections results in the future, and forget the present which needs more attention. And scums like Raj Thackeray thrive on these conditions like a virus and infect everyone around them, and India is so conservative and scared at times to take action against these people has to do with the people inside the government supporting these goonda's. Government wants support of People and also these kind of goonda's to do things for them for their own benefits. |

The govt also needs votes of people for whom Raj Thackeray is fighting, even its for a wrong issue. So govt will not her the sentiments of Maharashtrians who feel Mumbai is for them alone. Then you have state level party nexus also. |

We cannot say that media is favoring any party. BJP or congress media comes out with anything which is good or bad in both the parties. We start thinking too much and try to find clues which can make our perception stronger.. |
this is nothing but an irony of democracy...we have very limited choice to find a lesser devil amongst all .. |
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday admitted to goofing up on its 'most wanted' list, that was to be handed over to Pakistan, and has now withdrawn the list from its website. How irresponsible is this?! If they can do this then... |
