a person is only loyal to himself ..if the organisation supports his/her goal then only organisational loyalty comes into picture ..rest is all farce .. |

loyal and effective HR could built a loyal organisation!!!

Few people stay loyal to the organization just because of the sentimental reasons. Reasons like they got the opportunity to work for the first time in life, their relative's company, brand name etc. play role in the resource being loyal to his organization |

definitely most people stay loyal to the organizations because of the sentiments they have .they had worked for a longer period of time in the organization and they might have got a lot frm dat company so they stay loyal.
I strongly believe that staying in a particular place and working there for long time is going to happen only when an employee's chemistry is going to match with the rest of the core team there.......
Practically we all spend more than half of our daily life in the workplace and we need to feel very comfortable and easy ........ We should love our work and we should get appreciated and motivated for all the good job that we do .........
People fail sometimes but the top management need to analyse and then give the feedback for them to improve.........and not forget all the 99 good works they have done in the past and remember only one incident.........It is really not fair..
Nobody makes decision which can cause potential problems to the company.......we all make some decisions based on our intuitions and past experiences.......it may go wrong sometimes but majority of the times they will be good.....
I have also personally changed few companies and now living in Singapore.... I tried moving to canada also and stayed there for about an year and find that of all countries Singapore has been the best to stay and work.......I have seen very good harmony in MNC company even though we have staffs from different countries.......we have people from Brazil, US, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Srilanka.......we have a good team.......

There exists no loyalty and should not be also if it is about not leaving a particular job.Loyalty can be in terms of buss secrets etc but why should one stay if he can earn more or has better growth prospects. If one says he is loyal either he/she is a rare exception OR cant find anything better for himself in market Or wants to stay on at the comfort level even at the cost of deprived growth. |

Worked for 41/2 years but then it was fr 2 reasons-right money & learning...if either ceases then its waste to show so called loyalty...comp are fr business nt state that u need to be loyal..
tell me for how many years have you been working for same orgn. ......................?

People stay loyal to an organization only when the organizations are fair . When the organization is truthful and respects the values of the employees people stay loyal. By being loyal to an organization people believe that they will be respected by the organization and can stay in the organization for a long time. |

If companies provide a professionally and personally condusive environment they can win the employee's loyalty. An organisation that is fair to its employees gives them a realistic chance of growth and hence people remain loyal to that company.
|

I think other than anything company policies plays an important role whether an employee stays loyal or not, where both the employee and employer benefits are taken care of and here if the company policies are in tune with employee benfits, where he feels secure and which also ensures there is growth in his career prospect one will stay loyal to an organisation. |

I FULLY ENDORSE YOUR VIEW POINT.THE LOYALTY FACTOR IN ADDITION TO THE COMPANIES POLICIES THE HUMAN VALUE FACTOR IS PARAMOUNT AS AN EMPLOYEE AND THE EMPLOYEE TO WHOM HE REPORTS TO IN HIS WORK ENVIRONMENT HAS TO BE CONGENIAL.A LOT OF DEFICIENCIES ARE FOUND WANTING IN CASE OF HUMAN WELFARE IN MOST OF THE ORGANIZATION.
|
|
one should be loyal to ones organization, because employee's growth depend upon growth of individual. |

i fully accept you comment and alsowill like to add to add that if the envirment isfree from departments politics and misunderstanding and also indivduals thinks of development work in the organisation instead of thinking how to supress thejuinor then i hope company will surely will help to retain loyal worker/staff
|
|
few major reason for loyalty are:
1.allignment of individual and corporatee goals
2.great opportunities to learn and grow
3.emplyee satisfaction (with good working conditions, facilities etc.)
along with the negative ones could be
1. not that literate to be placed in other job
2.economy slowdown

Motivating Environment, Empowered Peers, Engaging Superiors, Attainable Challenge, Social & Brand Equity of the organization
|
|
If Overall Working environment is seamlessly motivating for all stakeholders - employers, employees, customers, partners, investors - not only employees, each stakeholder would continue to be loyal. The peer group should be equally empowered as a single employee, along with the Superiors and others who encourage the positive engagement of all level of resources to ensure very less employee turn over. As a team, if reasonable and attainable challenges and tasks are provided, with ample recognition has got many loyalists Social status of the organization and the status of the brands enjoyed in the general society also could be one of the reason |
