FREE CRM TOOL may sound wonderful for the overburden company and for few it doesn't matter because they don't prefer to go for free CRM tool at all.

Free CRM tool can lower the cost right, even then why do some Busniess Professional avoid free CRM Tool?

I would say no to Free RM tool because they lack customization options which can allow sales team to work at top efficiency. If companies sales process falls outside the traditional model then no use of having a Free CRM tool which is of no use.

As we know that there is a difference of experience in using free software tools and licensed software tools so in that context Free CRM tools should be avoided because they might not be able to give features which help the very cause of adopting a CRM solution by an organization.

Hidden Cost

One thing I have noticed in Free CRM tool is that they have advertisements in it, which may distract employees now which lower the performance. Staff won't be able to deliver what they are capable of. Won't this increase your companies cost ? It will...So better avoid Free CRM tool.

Investment in Servers and storage is required

Free CRM software requires investing in physical infrastructure because CRM server requires increased level of storage, connectivity and power. 

So if a company is going for free CRM also they have invest in it. Its better to have a licensed CRM tool from a trusted vendor.

The investment cost in physical infrastruce and server comes closer to licensed one.

Using a CRM for free may seem tempting especially in today's tight economy. But as it's been said, free doesn't always mean the best. When it comes to improving customer service, there is a need for CRM which is really critical, but turning to a free CRM isn't always the best choice in the long run.
