In my view, the new generation companies are more focusing on business growth through people growth and for growth, is underpinned by a strong belief that the next millennium will be the millennium of knowledge. This inevitably means that people, as carriers of knowledge, will be an organisation's most important asset.In the new business model, Companies will provide its management with unparalleled powers to imagine, innovate and implement new ideas, fully supported by investments in technology, research, marketing and people development. |

yes reena, employees are the real assets. business are ultimately based on people relations. The biggest example this example is the outstanding growth of GOOGLE. GOOGLE is one company where employees are provided with unparalleled freedom to innovate and come up with new ideas.
Yes I totally support this idea, coz if there wont be any employee then where the organisation will go. it will be like a body without a soul.

The foremost is, Employees are with Business, but Business is not just with employees. I am sorry to use such a strong statement but understanding that employee growth could be attained if business grows is very essential. After business growth has been achieved it quite essential to gauge importance of the building blocks in a business and suitable emphasis should be placed on the well being of the troubles 'block', may it be employees or growth. Employees are very important to sustain the organisation, but it is important to have an organisation first. |

Dear Ms Bindu, this is not as simple as we discuss it on this platform. My point here is very different, my concern is if you focus just on employee growth, how can you be assured of the business growth. Can you have one moving with another constant. Think it in financial terms, though I am marketer i should not say this, If you can motivate your employees to think new ideas for Business development by keeping employee growth constant, you can still achieve both.
However try to keep the business growth constant and focus just on employee growth, Now you are leaving your business to probability. Which i think is too risky. So what i am trying to say is ..... even if it is a CEO, let him/her strive for his/her growth by proving his/her capability with Business growth.
I suupport your idea as well as seek to argue on this, for the reason is how much the business development leads to emlpoyees growth, more than that the role of the existing employees is vital for the business development.

The companies should focuse on there employee grouth, by having monthly meeting and didcuse product necessary replasments or altractions because the employes know the prodect better have a better qulity product, Before lanching the product in the market. and employees should be benifited by giving genune advice.

Hence companies should focus on employee growth which naturally leads the management towards development of new ideas. Even the employees join companies for high compensation,they too can change with the company's focus on their career growth thus lowering the cost of employee retrieval pro grammes by the companies. |

Employees and Business are completely two different factors. An organization should not only focus on employees growth but also make sure that there is growth in business too. Parallelly the ratio should be maintained to increase the businees as well as employees by providing employee satisfaciton. Employees and Business growth is very important for an organization to make it a tough competitor in the market and to be in the top list of the companies. This makes the organization as well as employees feel great. |

If employess are not productive and if empolyees are not there then there is no organisation there is no team work,no business so as employesss grows there business also grows. Also if skills of employees are enhanced then only they can become multitasking and productive. Hence business grows parallel to employees

Growth and development in business are necessary. New techniques, adopting technological knowhow, innovations are all done for this. Fast-moving and the new generation companies like HLL, Infosys, Wipro are all appointing a dedicated team of managers to suggest a growth blueprint for the company for the future, which will be implemented through a new model of business growth through people growth. Why do you think these companies should focus on employee growth than on new ideas? Please share your ideas

Old Employees are well aware of the system and the functioning of the organization. If a new technology/ management strategy comes in, it only needs to blend the existent system into a technologically upgraded one. If we have a well trained, and trusting set of employees, the System and technology integration and transformation becomes easier, also it makes the employee good at the functional performance in the firm, but makes his abilities only partially useful for the other organisation, indirectly pushing him to sustain his current job. |
