Its quite obvious to all that wireless technology has changed the communication world and is the future of telecommunication.Here are a few points to make it clear- 1.the wired technology cant sustain the subscriber base of present and future 2.wireless technology is providing so much facilities those are not available in wired system 3.above all wireless technology make communication possible in moving state which is very imp and necessary in present day hectic life. 4.wireless technology has made the services & billing so easy that is hard to get through wired technology 5.its cheaper than wired system 6.as far as the security is concerned some of wired technology provides tremendously secure communication and the future wireless technologies will enhance the encryption/decryption techniques to a higher level |

wired & wireless technology both have some advantages & disadvantages,like there are so much hacking chances of wireless networks,but in case of wired network the chances are less.Another big reason is bandwidth.Wireless networks depends on RF,if RF is poor the performance will decries,but in case of wired network if we avoid the E.M.I & so many other conditions the chances of poor performance will decries.As a network professional I must say it depending on situation, in which situation which technology we should use.
