मैंने कहा दिल पे जिसे इख़्तियार है …


उसने कहा कौन सा तोहफा है पसंद..

मैंने कहा वो समां जो अबतक उधार है …


उसने कहा साथ कहाँ तक निभाओगे..

मैंने कहा जितनी ये साँसों की तार है…


उसने कहा मुझको यकीन आये किस तरह..

मैंने कहा मेरा नाम ही ऐतबार है ..
