In this busy world we rarely sit and meditate. we just don’t have time. here are some tips to work it out.
We live in a very busy society. Our lives have become more and more hectic day by day. We have just 24 hours a day in which we try to manage 8-9 hours of working, laundry, travel time to and fro office, our children, there needs, eating proper 3 meals a day, working out at least 30 minutes, and if you are a spiritual person then meditate 10-20 minute, and have a good night sleep.
Ahhhh. .. the list goes on and on.
We get only weekends to do the extra work such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, going to the dentist, buying groceries and then we are left with no time to party.
So here are the simple things which you can do to SIMPLIFY your life.
1.Set your mind that you want to simplify: Yes, that is the most important step. Like journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step first tune your mind. When you are ready you can hop to the step two.
2.Plan: Plan your time. Schedule your day, week or month. Go according to it. Do not quit. If you are firm you will be able to follow it and find the spare time or the area where time is just wasted.
3.Stop: Stop watching too much of television, stop surfing too much, stop playing computer games .They make you addict and you just don’t realize that where did you loose the time.
4.Slow down: Don’t push your body limits. Do only what your body and soul allows you to do. Don’t run so fast that you get exhausted right in the middle. You can take a small break and listen to your favorite song or call your loved one. After doing that go back to work.
5.Clean regularly: Really, you need to do that. Clean your house, your drawer, your desk at office, your mail box too! A clean atmosphere leads to a calm mind and then you don’t have to do that all at once.
6.Walk: If you don’t get enough of exercise your body will get rusted. Walk in a park and enjoy the natural beauty. It has a magical effect on mind and it makes you more active afterwards.
7.Meditate: Don’t ask me why! If you want your mind to be calm and soul to be healed on daily basis, this is a necessity. You need to give yourself some lone time. Sit, pray and meditate
8.Calculate: Calculate and manage your finances because when there is economic crisis a person becomes complex. You may be lured to work more and hard. it is better to make a budget and follow it. Sorting out needs and wants can make it easy.
9.Eat right: When there is a lot of work to be done, you need a lot of energy for it. The only way to get it is 3 proper meals. Don’t skip meals. Eat fruits and vegetables and drink milk. Shun alcohols and smoking. You should always remember “A man is what he eats”.
10.Take a break: It is equally important to take a break and go out for a mini vacation or spend time with your love and kids. Go to a spa or do a little bit of nature photography. Go to the beach or just relax in your backyard. It refreshers you and gives you energy to work harder after wards.
All this will not simplify your life completely but it will provide a breathing room. Give it a shot
