India and Pakistan have enjoyed a huge rivalry post-independence in every sport, both the nations have participated in since, be it Hockey, Cricket, Kabaddi or Football. The rivalry in the latter  has not been in the limelight, as other sports have enjoyed;  but things are surely changing in the sub-continent, as tomorrow’s match has already seen much of a surprising media attention, as the two nations go head to head in the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifying Round. One thing is for sure, no matter which sport the two nations participate in, no matter which country the match takes place, any match between the arch rivals has attracted huge crowds from both the countries and the MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya, in the Malaysian Capital, is expected to be packed more than usual, as fans are expected to show up and cheer their national football heroes.

Yipee, hurrah,India has won 3-1,at the half time, against the run of play,we were behind by 1 goal, but after 60mins,it was India which scored 3 goals to emerge 3-1 winners to maintain our clean slate against Pakistan in football at least.

Interestingly,we haven't lost to Pakistan in football yet(if I'am not wrong). The advantage we have in India is that in India there are places and people who haven't fallen prey to cricket's vices, like Meghalaya,Manipur,Sikkim and in some pockets of Kerala,Goa,Punjab &Bengal. The mainstays of India team in football are the footballers from Northeast and from some pockets mentioned above.Poor Pakistan doesn't have that depth and heterogeneity for selection from a large pool of footballers.Cheers, all the best,India

After their opening day 3-0 win against Chinese Taipei, India will be facing neighbours Pakistan tomorrow in their second Group B match of the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers at the MBJP Stadium, Petaling Jaya in Malaysia.

In any sport an India vs Pakistan contest is an interesting match-up, but if the young Indian team can maintain their level of commitment, their game and scoring then the match against Pakistan should pave the way for qualification for the final round of the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup.

thanks ma'am for sharing with us for football.all the best for both teams
