We all need to be happy. We know that money does not bring happiness. There are things bigger than money. However, some people think that happiness comes if there is money. We need to keep in mind that money comes to people who are happy. Below are some strategies to be happy. Read on happily.
1) You do not have to win all the time:-
People always want to win. When they lose they lose much more than happiness. They go into depression. Participate and do your best. Winning or losing is a part of the participation. If you win, then that is what is expected from you. However, if you lose then go for it next time. You have all the time in the world to improve.
2) Make friends:-
There are lots of people who are waiting to meet you and talk to you. Because they are looking friends just like you are. Take advantage of opportunities at work or your neighbors to expand your friendship circle or your network. Don’t rely on the internet to make friends. People need love, affection, care which you cannot give on the internet.
3) Minimize TV time:-
Watching television is great but it just takes away our tie and you cannot get back your time. Let that time be used to spend time with friends and people who are related to you. Besides, you will find you can plan and finish things which you possibly could not be done with your TV turned on. You will save a lot of time for other activities.
4) Accept yourself as you are:-
Do you have any idea how special you are? I guess some don’t. You have your own strengths, your own abilities and your own identity. So love yourself and accept the way you are. You are unique just like me and everyone else.
5) Do things you are good at:-
Doing what you do not want to do will possibly burn you out and exhaust you. Do the things you think you feel satisfied about. Take on responsibilities at which you think you stand out at. It can be cooking, sports, volunteering, accounting, etc.
6) Laugh:-
When you think you came across a humorous moment laugh. Don’t evaluate if the joke is good for you or not. Laugh when you think it is funny. When you do not laugh you feel that you are missing something. Laughter makes for a better person. It will increase creativity, productivity and satisfaction.
7) Smile:-
Smile, but smile genuinely. Your smile will make others smile and make them happy. Be the first to smile. Let it be you who generate happiness around you. It will neither cost you, your time or money. It in turn make you and others happy and increase productivity.
8) Listen to music:-
Music is soothing and can excite us. Music stimulates our brain. It has positive effects regardless of our age. Listen to music of you choice in order to be happy and to be excited.
