TARGET
· A system free from necessity of client’s interference shall be the prime target of all the systems and procedures
FOCUS ON PRODUCT QUALITY
· Product quality shall be the centre of focus
· Product Quality Rating shall be used as reverse method to check proper running of systems, an indirect audit method
WORK METHOD STATEMENT
· Each and every work method statement shall be discussed in weekly or monthly meeting before issue and properly explained in training
· Feedback on the method statement shall be encouraged and changes, if any, shall be properly and formally communicated
SITE TRAININGS
· The purpose of onsite training shall mainly be to explain the method statement, formats and checklists of the job.
· Training must be conducted before start of each and every activity and to all the teams involved.
· A proper job skill training shall also be imparted to QC staff, as required
AUDITS AND SELF CHECKS
· Root cause analysis shall be diligently carried out for Non Conformities and lacunas indicated by Product Quality Rating process
· No opportunity of self check and assessment must be lost
· Internal checks and tests shall not be done superficially with only ‘submission to client’ in view
MOTIVATION
· Awards for Product Quality Rating Score, Safety, Housekeeping and Overall quality shall be instituted
QUALITY OF A PROJECT
A project is said to be a quality project if:
· it is able to maintain the desired product quality
· the work has been done in a safe and environmental friendly atmosphere
· the project has been completed on or before the target date
· it respects and fulfills all the system requirements of the organisation
· the customer is happy with overall performance
· the targeted benefit has been achieved or exceeded
· end users feel satisfied
QUALITY IS EVERYBODY’S BUISNESS
