A Raja makes podium finish, among Times’ infamous list of power abusers
The disgraced former telecom minister, A Raja has beaten many eminent personalities from the corridors of power in the world in the latest list of infamous political figures who abused political power and were involved in corruption and scams.
Raja who is cooling his heels in Tihar Jail has beaten likes of dictator, Gaddafi of Libya and Italian premier, Silvio Berlusconi who has hogged limelight more for his sexual escapades than any political good work.
Raja has been involved in the mother of all scams, 2G telecom scam. The scam according to CAG has caused government coffers a loss to the tune of Rs 1 lakh 76 thousand crore. The infamous scam has been billed as the biggest scam ever unearthed in the history of independent India. The rules and regulations aimed to sell 2G bandwidth license were manipulated to render advantage to certain business man.
The ignominious list is headed by former U.S. prez, Richard Nixon. Raja is at infamous number two, followed by former C.E.O of Tyco International, Leonard Dennis Kozlowski, who is behind bars in New York for abusing his power and involvement in scams leading to downfall of the company.
Gaddafi is at number four position. Former Israel prez, Moshe Katsav occupies number five position, he has been sentenced for raping and is behind bar serving his seven year jail term. Silvio Berlusconi is at number six for his sexual escapades. North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Il is placed at number seven in the shame list. Bishop Roger Vangheluwe is at number eight. Zheng Xiaoyu, a former Chinese official and Albert Fall, a former U.S secretary of interior occupies number nine and ten position respectively in the infamous famous list of power abusers.
Raja has once again made us proud as he has been named in the infamous list of power abusers across the world. The former DMK politician through his sullied deeds has humiliated the whole country.
Rumors mills are rife, to celebrate Raja’s feat, DMK and Congress are planning to organize a grand function inside Tihar Jail. Kalmadi will be the chief guest and Kanomozhi will preside the historic function. Likes of Pappu Yadav, Lallu Yadav, Mulayam Singh, Mayawati, Shibu Soren, DP Singh, and Ashok Chavan are expected to grace the occasion.
