Hi Friends,

Sharing with you the reviews of 'Computer Science Corporation(CSC)' about work culture, growth prospect and salary.

A senior software engineer wrote:

What I like about CSC:
"
CSC is a good brand to be associated with. With CSC India now directly approaching clients bypassing CSC US and CSC UK, the quality of work coming to CSC India is better than what it was a few years ago. The compensation is good, if not the best in industry. And CSC also provides ample onsite oppurtunities to its employees. CSC has some good presence in UK and Europe as in US, so people looking for an exposure to Europe might want to join CSC. There is a good deal of emphasis on domain knowledge and not just technical knowledge. CSC promotes Employee development through domain and technical certifications."

What don't like about CSC:
"CSC is one of those organisations where senior leadership sends regular emails on high flying subjects like innovation, leadership, brand building, ethics. But little is practiced on ground level. Transaparency especially in appraisal system is officially denied, and is non existant in other areas. Favouritism is rampant. And HR policies are one of the worst in industry. Especially the bonds employees have to sign each time they go onsite, is excessive and has led to forced retention levels. The attrition rate is so low, that HR has recently cancelled an employee retention scheme going forward, to promote some decent level of attrition. Despite having a large bench with varied skills within CSC, management is unwilling to resource the people to other projects, and HR regularly conduct lateral hirings from outside."
