A positive attitude in the workplace can help you whether you own your own business, work as an employee, or manage others within a business environment. You’ll enjoy your work more and achieve your workplace or business related goals more easily and faster.
A first impression can be a hard thing to shake especially if it's a bad one. In other words, once you have gotten a workplace reputation as being lazy, a slacker, a whiner or other negative tag, it can be hard to get rid of.Think of someone you've worked with who perhaps didn't work as hard as you expected them to and then think about how you felt about every time you had to work with them.
Perception is often reality and once people get an idea in their head about someone or something, it can be difficult to get them to think differently. In my experience, your attitude in the workplace can sometimes define you more than the work you actually produce if your coworkers come to see you as someone who is reliable, competent, intelligent and someone that they can rely on.
One of the worst feelings can be to work with people who don't seem to care and don't appear to pull their own weight. When I think about people I've worked with who I've seen in a positive light, they tend to be people who outwardly display a positive attitude in the workplace.
They tend to take the initiative and are reliable. They are someone that you look forward to working with. They don't complain or bad mouth their company or coworkers and basically get on with the job at hand. They don't wander around bothering other people because they aren't doing their own job.
Basically, they are people who would be missed if they left the company.
Workplace attitude differs in private, public sectors
A comparison between the two sectors revealed a higher level of organisational politics in the public sector. The political skills of public sector employees were much more developed. Yet, significant differences in employees' emotional intelligence level were not found. The study shows that EI has a much greater impact on private sector employees' perceptions and attitudes compared to public sector employees.
Moreover, the study found that employees from the public sector were more likely to use forceful influence tactics, regardless of their emotional intelligence level. In the private sector, however, employees with a higher level of emotional intelligence were less likely to use such tactics.
So, it depends....what attitude you carry....within you....

Take day as it comes, who knows if there will be a tomorrow or not! |
Mam it might not make sense for highly qualified people but it does make sense for few who are still to reach that height. |
Tolerance is good sometimes but not always .. revenge is truly a sign of cowardice. Nice thought for the day sir ! |
Hello ! Your Attention , R. K. Malhotra , Sir , Your above " Mathematical Certainty " formulization is like a Matinee . Are you a Numeralogist too, Sir ? In general , great Authority is usually associated with applications of Mathematics in the sense that whatever is mathematically determined must be correct. What is the source of this Authority , assuming that no errors in the use of Mathematics occurred ? It is here that " What is true " & " What is valid " join together . Note that Validity is concerned wirh logical consequences and Truth is concerned with correspondence with Reality ! This is the summary of the Authority of Applied Mathematics . Your concluding portion has spoiled the spirit of your effort in this Debate on Toostep platform . Asskissing does to one a silly servantship , Do You Know ? Following your line of descriptions given , I will put it in right position of Applied Mathematics as follows for the sake of good debatership . In the MODERN ALZEBRA , it has been called THE SET THEORY . A Set is a well-defined collection of objects , say for example , qualities of professionals . Sets are denoted by capital letters such as A , B , C ,...P , Q , R ,... X , Y , Z . The Objects in a Set are denoted by small letters a, b , c ...p, q, r,... x , y , z ,... and are called the Members . The symbol ^ stands for the words " is a Member of ".If x is a Member of a Set U it is denoted by x ^ U. If y is not a Member of the Set U , it is denoted by y ? U . Any Set is represented by the Roster Method which says all the Members are listed within braces e.g. U = { Hardwork , Knowledge , Attitude } . Modern Algebra has recommended what is called THE UNIVERSAL SET. Otherwise called THE PARENT SET . Every set is stated to be a Subset of the UNIVERSAL / PARENT SET . Also, the same Modern Algebra has recommended what it called THE EMPTY SET which has no Members at all .THE UNIVERSAL / PARENT SET does accept THE EMPTY SET as its Complement. The very mention of Asskissing is your back talk . The DEBATE is ATTITUDE -- It DEFINES Who You Are >>>> sd/- Dr .
