Bavistin Seed Treetment

Dear Friends,
Bavistin is a brood spectrum systemic fungicide containing 50% WP carbendazim.
Carbendazim 50%WP is effective against a wide range of pathogenic fungi and is highly specific in its control of important plant pathogens on a variety of crops , omamental plants and plantation crops.
¤ It is used as a seed dresser.
¤ It is not toxic to bees.

Stability :- Under normal dosage conditions it is stable for two years form the date of manufacture.

Compatibily :- carbendazim 50%WP is compatible with most of the insecticides expect of those alkaline nature.

Toxicity :-
Acute oral LD 50( Rats ) :- 1500mg/kg
Acute dermal LD50( Rats ) :- 2000mg/kg
For dogs LD50 :- 2500mg/kg

Applications :- Carbendazim 50%WP can be applied as a follar spray before the onsets of the disease arrival of inoculam in the infestation court & repeat application till symptoms disappear. Mix the recommended quantity of the fungicide with a little water to make a paste. To which the bulk of water a added and mixed throughly. Stir frequently with a stick or mental rod to ensure a good suspension.

Seed Treatment :-
1. Dry Seed Dressing :- The fungicide can be also used for seed treatment. Mix the seed with carbendazim 50%WP at recommeded dosage and roll it throughly a seed dresses.
2. Wet Seed Dressing :- Use minimum quantity of water ( as recommeded ) to get carbendazim 50% WP evently on seed and dry the treated seeds before sowing.

Plant Protection Equipment :- The recommeded dosage of carbendazim 50%WP with 500-1000 litres of water so spray in one nectare of field crops. Spray Orchid crops 1500-2000 litre per hectare.
Use Bucket Sprayer , rocking sprayer , foot sprayer , wheel harrow sprayer , compression knapsack sprayer , compression knapsack battery sprayer.

Low Volume Spray :- Mix the recommeded dosage of carbendazim 50%WP with 125 litres of the water per hectare. Use motorised knapsack mist blower cum duster.
Storage :-
1. The packages containing material shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of the material.
2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the material and of sufficient dimensions to avoid contamination with vapour.

Disposoal of containers :-
1. The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their reuse.
3. Packages or surplus material and washings from the manner so as to prevent environmental or water pollution.

Precautions by users :-
1. Keep out of reach of children.
2. Keep away from the food stuffs and animal feeds.
3. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.
4. Avoid innalation of mists made from fungicide.
5. Do not eat , drink , chew smoke while handing the fungicide.

First aid measures :- In case of suspected vomiting , IF ingested , by administering a spoonful operation until vomit fluid is clear. If the eyes are contained flush with plenty of clean water.
