Being Grateful

BEING GRATEFUL !!

Glass is Half-full / Glass is Half empty these are ways of looking at the things. Now time has come that instead of complaining we should be grateful for everything we have and yes everything we do not have !!

For example science has done miracles and we should respect the time, money, effort that humans are saving because of advance of science !! Take for example Computer, Internet. Wow !!  I can communicate to distant person in the world. Distant  Relatives, friends will be always there throught out life because of these new communication tools. Globalization is in true sense started because of such communications only.

We have a in general tendency to look for faults. In day to day life we take everything for granted that we forget to appreciate the things, people we have around us. We run after everything and don't be thankful for what we have in hand.

I think now is the right time to be grateful to all people, family members, relatives, teachers, scientist, society. Actually we should be thankful for everything and from iota to the entire universe.

I don't want to skip failures, difficulties, hardships, bad incidences from my thanking list as we do learn experince from them.

There is one simple excercise one can do to beig grateful. 

1) Take any "Thing"

2) Think how that thing is important in your life

3) Be grateful to the persons who devised that thing.

4) Be grateful to that "Thing" directly.

In the above excercise "Thing" could be anything like Cellphones, Camera, Computers, Roads, Vehicles, Family members, friends etc. Try to be above "Thing" for somebody else.

Please note that by being grateful we are not being complac ent. We are just appreciating the contribution of the world, society for the development of every individual.

The truth in the end is by being thankful to what we have is being thankful to self. Being Content & Being thankful to GOD !!
