Priced voting  can end all bed features of election in India.   At the election day every election authorities are paid by government except voter so why not voter is not paid for voting? If voter is paid for voting it will inspire all other who are not voting and 100% voting will take place which result all other bed elements ends. All electing party will pay for this expense. No dummy or duplicate member will try to take free benefits from main stream of election chain. This  basic and important sight is forgotten by our lagislatives.

I wish to clarify that this subject is related to daily wages for lower class voter who gives their votes 78% total voting strength per polling station. It is not meant to money for vote but to give the right refund to right person who are gives their precious time and earning source. Please give me your maximum support to build corruption free India.

wow that is the spirit. we are going to live with the people with no emotion and money minded in next few years. well i think we should take money to eat food and to do our daily routines. and also we can take money from our friends if they talk with us and if we talk with them we can offer them money. The world will be too good. because at that time every one will be free. ke paisa feko tamasha dekho, mai chahe jo karu meri marzi,
Thanks for the referral, Sulagna.

Wherever there is money, there are going to be scams. You know it.

And I agree with Mr. Suravajhala who has put it quite succinctly. Yes, we are a lazy public and we are participating so very less in the administration of our country as members of the general public. We want to get government jobs or government contracts or even the reins of the government (i.e. become MLAs or MPs).

But if we (and our family) are ok then we don't have to worry about anyone or anything else, right?

Pay the voters for voting and give the party in power a chance to give a promise to increase that amount? Are the promises of free TVs, mixies, gas stoves, electricity, meals, rice, etc., etc., not enough? Why add one more to the list?

All the ills are due to payment to the voters in cash and kind by all the parties and they are swayed by it one can see it from the various elections.

Hey,

This an open invitation for calling Election as Business. Pay for what you(officers) are doing is the job that they are doing. But, voting is a privilege. Individual can exercise his right or even restraint from it. It is all about democracy & individual rights.
Thanks for referral Ms Asmita Rai.

This can be good to inspire everyone to cast vote. But this is not the solution...

Asmita :) Thanks for referring this to me

Paying voters is not an option, some voters are getting paid anyways by the politicians directly or indirectly. Here the election commission have to look after either every voter gets the benefit or none. voting should be partial and clean.

Great idea to get paid for voting, but is it sufficient ?
No it's not.
Thanks for referral, Asmita.
Its ridiculous to say. Voter will be getting some thousands, the candidate has purchased the votes and after winning the elections, will he keep quite. Its a business for him. He want his investment back with thumping profits. They will be squeezing the people. Ofcourse, unofficially this is already in vogue. We can not legitimize this practice. People are failing time and again to chose their correct representative in our democracy. People are becoming emotionally blind and becoming prey for the gimmicks of politicians. People are caring for short term gains and becoming losers in the long run.

Your vote is not so cheap, getting paid once and remain silent for five years. If the citizens are honest in casting their votes, they will reap the benefit for five full years. The leaders, before thinking of escalating prices, would think twice! People's verdict in TN saw "freebies" free-flowing! Money power could not buy their votes this time!

How does this solve the problem?? Ok so everyone gets money to vote, they take money and still do not vote then? What if some one pays extra money and asks for vote?? I do not feel this is a solution..
