Big Bazaar is no way 'sasta'.Being one of the early entrants they are exploiting the word,a certain basket only is slightly cheaper while other goods like private labels(without any quality guarantee)sell like branded owing to unaware consumer.At best it is local wal-mart with no real integration required to sell really cheap.

Yes,Mr.Ricky its good competition and especially benefit to consumers in low -price. However, Provision store/Kirana Stores market is going well.

the Dream of Kishore biyani has come true. Indians are enjoying the lowest price benefit from Big Bazaar. this is also the best competition for foreign retailers like wal-mart. at the same time company recruiting the labors for the low salary putting pressure to them to sell more and more. it is again reflecting the low labor cost country.

Yes, sir today people facing frequently hike on prices of every thing, so to avoid that perception of Costly thing, Big Bazaar has used word "Sasta"..same feel like as Kirana or provision stores.

Its time people understand Labour Policy of Big Bazaar. Some deep study is  required to protect the employees.  In the name of "sasta", they are spoiling the future of younger generation, following the British model of "hire and fire"! Human Resource is the only asset of this country to stage a come back in the world arena!
