This is good news for the Railways & certainly better news for the people. I believe that 'going green' is the theme of this century. It's good that railways has shown interest though it's still to be seen that how soon bio toilets are implemented in trains. Nevertheless great initiative by the Railways and thanks maam for sharing this with us.     

Excellent article. This is one of the best innovation I heard in a recent time by Indian Govt. It should not get stuck in regulation/approval process and delay the project. 

Its a great step for railways of India as well as for Indians.We all should see to it that its a success.There should be transparency in the project so that any short comings/cutting corners(since it is a govt project)on the part of the consultant/contractor/govt can be given second look and remedial design suggestions can be forwarded by well wishers.

Excellent. I was always thinking, why Railways and the buses, also have toiets like the aircrafts have. Now it is coming. Hopefully this project does not take decades before it starts functioning.

 We should encourage such moves by the government in writing good about it. Thanks for sharing it with me.
