Clowns

Clowns control the shows.
They make fun but cry within
And hide their sorrows.

In circus tricky

They act as master artists
And jokers lucky.

We are jokers odd

In life’s social circuses

With our own façades.

As commoner sad

We live in clowning glories

And act as if glad.

We entertain all

With livelihood ironic

And spinelessly crawl.
